Anyone here do any graffitti? I just now started..me and my boy are ganna get all the stalls in our school next week.What do you guys find yourself tagging, like names.I've been working on Void alot latley.Thats like my tag name.And I'm talking about graffiti art and words, not fucking stnecils that say Meat is Murder, or OJ's guilty.

Some graffiti is obviously done by people with superfluous artistic talent; I've always enjoyed watching the train go by with ample creativeness and art. However, the fact remains that in the end, you're destructing someone's property, and it's against the law. Someone has to pay to cover it up, just like you'd have to pay if someone jacked your weed.

In Swansea there used to be a place where you could hang out, everyone called it the caff, and upstairs they used to have art exhibits, including graffitti art -just huge boards up with graffitti all over them. Damn, some of them were good.
yeah some graffitti can be amazing!
but writing your name on peoples wallls is just pointless...
And yeah it is a bit unresponsible writing on peoples walls...especially if its shit!

Tags are pretty lame though, stupid white kids that want to be black try and attempt at it, to be cool, but they fail, miserably.

Tagging looks good, if like it's on a wall that people can see clearly as they go past on a train, there's one on a huge wall on the side of the motorway by me that says something like... oh fuck i can't remember, some profound, philosophical shit :stoned: lol :)

Well, I think it all depends on where the graffiti is placed. Like if you're tagging somebody's car or a grave or something, that's just being a dick. But I don't see what the problem would be putting graffiti on, say, a bridge. Gives it some color and personality.

Man I used to do graffiti was really into it. Thought i was never gonna stop funniest thing that happened was we saw a graffiti removal van removing our graffiti that we had done just a few days ago, My friend then decide to tag it and this girl tak a picture but just as he finished she screamed like really loudly and this graffiti remover man came running after my friend lol he tried grabbing him but he ran like ive never seen him run before. He got away hehe saw him later he looked really shook and whenever we saw a police car he hid his face lol.. we got caught eventually Police were assholes we were only doing some colourful you know Pieces over some shitty scribbles. they knew they could have just taken our cans and called our parents but they decided to scare us for good and arrested kept in a cell for 4 hours.. sucked thats when i stopped.. It was some shitty park police as well?? when we saw them we both ran but i gave up because all my cans just flew out of my bag. My friend got quite far but decided to catch his breath only to see the park police drive up on the curb and telling him to lye down lol..

Did you ever stop to think that maybe other people don't like your art? Same goes for kids that write on their desks at school.
I think graffiti is nice if it is done on a canvas. I don't want any artist putting their interpretation of whatever the fuck they feel like on my shit.......or public shit for that matter.

Graffiti was always covered up within a day or two. People are already bitching about our school budgets, and paying to have it covered is just using more money which could be going toward something to improve our ridiculous school system.

Don't know how old you are, but how would you feel if you got a car and three days later come across your car covered in Graffiti because some punk ass like you decided it'd be fun to spray paint property that wasn't his. My guess, is you'd be pretty fucking pissed, especially about having to get a new paint job for the car. Start being more considerate of peopole and their shit and respect the fact it isn't yours.

I have hardly ever tagged with paint, but I draw handstyles, pieces, and shit like that in my handbooks. I sometimes write handstyles with paintpens, on like bathrooms stalls, garbage cans...shit like that, but I don't know one person that tags cars and houses. No one does that shit.

If you had equal ownership of a house with someone you wouldn??t paint it without consulting them.

Ok, unmeg, you're right. I did say I had no problem with someone else finding a plant in the wild and picking a bit for themselves.... but that isn't the argument at hand. The point is... I even said in that thread, that I personally would never do it (i don't know if it's up anymore, but check the post if you are thinking i'm making this up) but that I had no problem with it. So I'm not ripping the plants off, some people that found it growing are. But is taking a bit of a wild plant destroying property?
