starting the pipe

ok, i have two questions, the first, the other day one of my good friends asked me if i wanted to try some weed, i said yes, and he got me a little baggie with some seedless weed. at least it was seedless for the most part, there were a few little seeds in it. anyway, i stoped at a headshop on my way home and i perchased a pipe, its a metal pipe, thats wood in the ,middle, and a metal mouthpeace at one end, and a metal bowl at the other. my problem is, i cant get the dang thing to light. i broke up the clumps of weed that was in the bag and filled up the bowl, the first time it was in the bowl loose, and the second time i used my finger and packed it in. anyway, yesturday was the first time, i took i lighter and held it up to the bowl at the same time sucking on the pipe, i seen the weed light, and i kept sucking untell i couldent anymore. then after i blew the smoke out of my mouth, and was about to take another puff, i looked and there was no smoke cumming out of the end of the pipe, it was out. i then re lit the pipe doing the same thing, and agein the same thing happent, the pipe went out right after my first toke. why is this. why cant i get my pipe going. i cant realy think of any reasons of why this might be happening so i posted it here to see if any of you might know why.

question number 2
i smoked last night, and today and i cant seem to get high. why do you think this is. could it be im just inhailing wrong, or taking to little of a number of tokes. usaly i end up with about 8-10 tokes. 4-5 per bowl. and every time i smoke, i use 2 bowls. also what is the proper way to inhale the smoke. thanks for the help.

no, thats not it, the lighter never goes out. i just light it up, and after i take my first toke, its almost out.

ya the weed isnt dry enough to stay lit put the bag of weed in the sun 4 a couple of hours itll probably stay lit then. ok the way u inhale is take a puff dont swallow it 4 a coupe of seconds then after a while suck the smoke that is in your mouth into ur lungs keep it in 4 bout 15-30 secs ull cough if ur doing it rite but if u inhale this way u mite not c the smoke come up wen u exhale but this way ur bound to get high in 3 good hits

After you hit it try taking in a little regular air to take it down into your lungs, hold it for a few seconds.

so after i suck on the pipe and get the smoke in my lungs, i should suck some reguler air into my lungs, then hold it for 5 sec, then blow it out. so it should only be taking me 3 puffs to get high? last night i took 5 tokes, i still was not high, then i refilled the bowl, and took another 5 tokes, and i still wasent high. im not sure what i could be doing wrong. if i try the new breathing advice, taking in some reguler air after my toke, should i get high?

make sure you are inhaling deep. its not about how long you hold it, its about how deep you inhale.

alright man listen up, break ur shit up with some scissors in like a shot glass or cup etc...so that covers that poss. then pack it inthre as tight as poss but still able to breath somewhat perfectly, next light that shit, if u want to get it going to inhale at the same time just puff on ithard then take as big of a hit as u can take the pipe away from ur mouth and suck in reg air. from there ull be quite uncomfortable but hold it in! after a few of those ull be alright, but if u weed still wont stay flame then its prob to sticky(ya right) or too wet, but it all this doesnt work just find more weed, and make sure u know that is it in fact decent >WEED<!!!!!

im going to post a picture of my weed and my pipe laiter tonight. then you guys can tell me what you think. also the guy that i got the weed from said that it was realy good stuff, so im not sure what went wrong. but i will post those picts in a hour or two.

Although very very doubtfull, its possible you have a very very very high tolerance. My friend austin does, he has to smoke an 8th to get high. But i really wouldnt count on that. Hurry up with some pics :p

And if you bud is too wet, stick a small peice of paper in it and let it sit there for a few hours.
