Im getting pretty worried becuase this goverment is screwing up and nobodies doing anything about it when i heard that we were two hundred and forty-some billion dollars in debt to China I thought I would here on the new the next day that the president had be taken out of his bed room , beaten, and then thrown off the top of the White house.I've been talking to people and they know there goverment is lying to them but they don't do anything about it ,there just like "I hope we can get through another 2 years of him."
Have we turned into a bunch of sheep?

Obviously america is bound to fall. Like Rome. Unless it experiences some major reform I'd have to say America won't be enjoying it's sole superpower status for long!

We need to:

* fix relations with the other countries we share this planet with
* reform energy issues
* legalize and regulate drugs
* perform and enforce enviromental protection plans
* completely overhaul the educational system, media and healthcare

HMM i dont see republicans doing this. democrats are shitty too. Is there hope?

Your only hope is republicans, were the only party with morals.

And you need to learn economics. We arent in debt to China two hundred and forty-some billion, We have a two hundred and forty-some billion Trade Deficit with China, meaning that we buy from China two hundred and forty-some billion more in China made Goods then China buys from us of USA Made Goods. Altho I doubt the number is that high.

And I dont see us fixing relations with muslim countries where it is preached and taught daily to People that we/israel are the enemy, and it is the job of every muslim to destroy us.

?? Republicans are against weed. So go hang out with your neo nazi christian facists or something that doesnt involve smoking cannabis because youre supporting prohibition. :rolleyes:

define "morals". Christian values?? Is that what you consider morals?

Most politicians, whether Republican, or Democrat, are opposed to legalization. While it's probably true that more Democrats are open to the idea, Arnold Schwarzenegger and some other Republicans are progressive about it. Although not in politics any more, William F. Buckley is actually in favor of legalization for all adults â?? not just for medical users. He'd be the last guy you'd think would try it, but he HAS smoked, albeit on a boat in international waters, lol.

â??We're not going to find someone running for president who advocates reform of those laws. What is required is a genuine republican groundswell. It is happening, but ever so gradually. Two of every five Americans, according to a 2003 Zogby poll cited by Dr. Nadelmann, believe â??the government should treat marijuana more or less the same way it treats alcohol: It should regulate it, control it, tax it, and make it illegal only for children.â??

Such reforms would hugely increase the use of the drug? Why? It is de facto legal in the Netherlands, and the percentage of users there is the same as here. The Dutch do odd things, but here they teach us a lesson.â?

I never did like production manufacturing jobs but you know what? they used to pay very well and it used to be there were more jobs then workers. its far time we fix our trade imbalances with countries, and protect our country from predatory trade practices, untill we do this we will continue down the tubes untill one day we wake up and discover our money is worthless. our leaders have been selling us down the river for decades, but really it is our fault, we could organize grass roots efforts and march on washington, we could strike collectively as an entire nation until "our" government once again does the will of the people, and lastly if necessary we could defeat our own government by military action, if need be.

A person I knew that was a dealer, in the mid-late 1970's, was positive that he would still be able to maintain a thriving unregulated exotic weed and hash business after eventual legalization and the usual governmental incompetence - for the same reason that you wrote. Thirty years later, weâ??re all still wondering when, of if, it will happen at all.

No I don't think we are bunch's of sheep however for starters it takes money to start up and get things happening like publicity and means of getting there.Look I understand it's like our government and the way things are lookin for us downunder and it's scary to say the least except I do know that he (Johnny Howard)is certainly screwing the majority of the australian people just like Bush is screwing up the majority of the American people.Yeah well at least you have only got 2 yrs with him with us you never how long this prick will be in there for?

Maybe no one told you, but morality is subjective. Don't you mean that the republican party is the only party that shares your morals? It seems to me that the republican party endorses murder, mismanagement of funds and eliminating their opponents by any means necessary. All I see is a lack of morals, but then again that's just my subjective view.

Other than that, how is the republican party our only hope? I mean theyâ??ve been running the government almost single-handedly for a while now. When will we see a return? They must have something else going for them other than some one sided ideal.
