if you put a clear plastic bag over a thick bud of a plant tightly, would it grow to suit the shape of the bag?

maybe if you wrap insulated wire around the bud, and shape the bud how you want it to form.

What is the goal you are trying to achieve?

a bud shaped like a penguin... brilliant! Modern sciences have really taken us somewhere. But seriously, Im sure you could do it and maybe shape it like a cube or something to maximize volume and packability, but why take all that time and effort?

Man you could train a stem to spell your name it you wanted to. Cola produce more then tons of small nugs. I did a experiment once with a 22 gallon and tied the plant down so it was a canopy of sorts with many many branches covering the entire soil. I grew a rectanular cube of sort that looked solid in bud about a foot and a half high and the dimentions of a 22 gallon. It looked real cool but after I spent hours trimming after harvest it was no more then many mini nugs that did not wieght much of anything. Fun to do but not recommended.
