i take vicodin every now and then. i have like 3 right now. should i take them after i eat or before i eat? should i smoke a bowl and take them? some kids i know take vicodine through their nose like coke, is this effective?

Geez, I couldn't snort vicodin. Just taking it orally makes my sinuses ache because of some decongestant or cough suppressant or something thats in it that's also works as a pain reliever.

dont snort it, it does the same thing either way, taking them orally will just take longer to kick in.

2 weeks ago i got a prescription for 25 because i got in a car accident. i took them all last week and the last night i had them i took about 3 and snorted 1. i prefer snorting, it gets you high faster, and it feels cool. i have one left, and i'm planning on snorting it sometime.

Here is my reasoning:



Suppose you have a 5mg Hydrocodone/500mg Acetaminophen tablet, crushed. Without taking into consideration the weight of the binders and fillers, what is the actual percentage of hydrocodone in the material that you would be insufflating?
If we do some math we find that 5:500 reduces to 1:100 and so the material is less than 1% hydrocodone.
Acetaminophen, commonly known as Tylenol is not very water soluble in comparison with your traditional snortable drugs. This coupled with the fact that your typical dose of hydrocodone also comes with 1,500mg+ (over a gram) of tylenol suggests that insufflation is a poor route of administration for Vicodin-like tablets. The amount of material would clog your nostrals and is likely to prevent absorption of hydrocodone through the nasal membrane.
So where does all that shit you're snorting really go? It drips into your stomach, you can feel and taste it as it slides down your throat.

i didn't really feel it dripping down my throat or anything. and if it goes into my stomach, that's where the pill would go anyway. plus, sometimes ppl prefer not to swallow a drug.

i ended up snortinglike 1/4 ov one any way. and i must say i could taste it in my breath. luckily i had a bowl next to me to heal the pain. i found out these are 5mg hydro and 500mg acetaminophin (lortab) they were marked m357. it was a burning sensasion i will never forget.

Why snort them?Surely you'd be better off just taking them? Only things I've ever snorted are pills and coke, enjoyed the effect, didn't enjoy the snorting AT ALL lol, if there was a choice of a vicodin/valium/codeine etc or a nice fat joint I'm afraid MJ wins every time :D

That's crazy talk. Don't waste your nasal passages on that shit. Some vicodin pills are huge!!

Just take them orally,... it might take a while but you will be high eventually. Unless you are used to oxycontin or something...

watson is a generic for perks and vikes, but i dunno if they make anything else... u need to score some vicodin HP (high power) u take 2 of those and smoke and ur straight retarted.. add a couple shots and whoop there it is... u'll be melting into whatever you sit on... this is just talking them orally, no need to snort em

I suppose some just wouldn't get it. A group of kids I used to hang out with a couple years back would often snort hydrocodone and oxycodone tablets with acetaminophen, they even tried smoking them in joints with shrub. The difference was that they genuinely believed that was the best way to get fucked up from them. (Not so they could pretend to be cool, they knew they were losers.) That and the fact that they were consuming dxm multiple times a day for quite some time.

A nice opiate high can be very relaxing, in all its warm and fluffy goodness.

i took the 2 and 1/2 and it was great feeling. didnt laste very long but it was good. and the reason i ended up snorting one any way was becasue i hit my head real hard. and i am just so retarded i said "hey im going to snort half a vicodan, and i did. it stopped hurting. it wwas good. your advice was great any way though thanks alot every one!

Never ever mix alcohol and pain killers. Acetominophen is terrible with liquor. You put a lot of unnecessary strain on your liver.


Anyway, cold water extract the hydrocodone and insufflate it if anything. Try to avoid snorting the acetominophen.
