Those movies suck ass. I just recently saw reefer madness and i could easily say its one of the dumbest movies ive ever seen. I dont care if it is about weed, its retarded.
These are not stoner movies

You MUST be kidding. Have you ever seen Mystery Science Theater 3000? Mike Nelson is reason enough to get these DVDs but this Reefer Madness is outstanding. The special features including a short film by Gandpa Ganja is a riot and the music use in the menus are classic in themsleves. Yes, Reefer Madness is a terrible movie but that's what makes it so great to watch, especially when riffed by Mike. Same is true of Plan 9. These are totally stoner movies (unless you're an 80 year old stoner and even then their entertaining). rysk8er420... have you ever heard of MST3K?

Sorry dude, but everyone i know doesnt really like those type of movies, nor do I. And i work in a movie store, so believe me ive seen a lot of movies.

rysk8er420 - since you work in a movie store you certainly must be an expert. These titles are doing incredible numbers on college campuses nationwide as well as in retail stores. Night of The Living Dead is in the top ten hotest catalog titles this year.
But then again... you do work in a movie store :-)

Just because a movie is popular or sells well, that doesnt make it a good movie, u should know that unless you were retarded.
I never said anything about Night of the living Dead, i do think that movie is a classic... a horror classic, but its definately not a stoner movie, just as none of those other movies are.
By the way no one has agreed with your post so far......

I'm going to be kind...
You're right that Night of The Living dead is a classic and was not a stoner movie... up until now. This colorized release with Mike Nelson is a stoner movie. Same with Reefer Madness. Watching the version in your video store would be a bore but watching this new release is ball breaking funny.
I'd love to hear how many MST3K fans there are out there. I'm not a nerd and I'm likely old enough to be your father (Luke) but I'm a die-hard MST3K fan.

The new reefer madness special addiction is great! I really like the multi-colored smoke -- also the actual restoration of the movie really makes it viewable -- it is more funny than I remember from before - Three tokes for Off-Color Films on a great job -

I may not have been around for the orginal release of them, but I must say I enjoy them all. I mean I couldn't watch them often, but if I'm with someone who's willing I'll pull up a chair and watch em.

Night of the living Dead, Plan 9 from outer Space, and House on Haunted Hill.
House on Haunted Hill with Vincent price is a wonderful classic, would love to see in color. Vincent Price will only get better in time.
The original night of the living dead was incredibly gruesome for being shown for the first time in the mid 70??s on the TV program ??Creature Features? Channel 2.
I saw it that night w/grandfather only about 7 years old and it scared the crap out of me and affected me for many years. I??ll watch it from time to time and it amazes me how very effective the film is. An absolute classic. The Re-Make was Great!
Plan 9 from outer space is cool for the history and the craziness of everything. If there were ever a great stoner flick, this would be the one. But for no longer than 45 minutes. The laughter only lasts for so long. It??s just too painful to laugh that much. (Good green required)

What does the "Ultimate Stoner Cult Movie" mean? Is it a movie that is best seen stoned? that qualifies a lot ;) Or is it a movie that won't degrade my buzz? (very few)
Reefer Madness used to make me mad since it was an obvious attempt by the government & alcohol industry to make reefer look dangerous. The only way I could watch it was with the sound off, now that was funny :) A little PF and a stoopid movie .....
Anyway, the voice over by Mike Nelson on this release is great. Sounds kinda like some of my friends. I finally found a copy of Reefer Madness worth leaving the sound on. And two thumbs up for letting me keep my buzz

SmokesDa - The 3 Stooges includes hillarious skits by The Film Crew between the four famous Stooges Shorts. For those who don't know it, The Film Crew includes Mike Nelson of Mystery Science Theater 3000 along with his two robots in their human form. They create some of the "piss your pants" funny part of the DVD as they discuss Shemp vs Curly, why women don't like the Three Stooges along with an interview of one "woman" that actually loves them, a really funny explanation of the film crew's home theater audio system (an Easter Egg that you get to via a map in one of the Stooges shorts), and much much more. Makes for a great green Saturday afternoon. :rasta:  :pimp:

Not specifically stoner moveis but fun to watch when stoned...and definitely cult classics...
Killer Clowns from Outer Space is always a riot.
An old sci-fi movie/cult flick called Dark Star. It's about these
guys whose job it is to cruise around space and blow up unstable stars. Special effects are iffy at best but the conversations with the bomb are a riot.

The Sting with paul newman and robert redford is great when stoned, or A Night At The Opera by the Marx brothers. Alls you need then is a blunt and a marker pen, and you can BE groucho...

Fight Club I like. Has nothing to do with drugs, but is still a good one.
I watched a funny ass horro flick late last night called "Night of the Living Dead 2"...oh man, seeing those films from the 80's are riot to watch. I recommend any cheesy horror flick from the late 70's-80's
