Looking at some old footage of saddam I do not believe the saddam on trial is the same guy, the old saddam looked far more,almost like an asian guy.

He might be getting less sunlight, than he's used to. He almost might be eating healthier and getting in shape.

He was featured in Lil Wayne's new video, "Bringin the brotha down".If you look close in the backround theres a middle eastern looking guy doing the Harlem Shake..I suppose?...in his cell.Plus there was all kinds of controversy about it on VH1's show: The Best Week Ever.

Yeah I think its possible they are trying a look alike, and just passing it off as him, It is known he had about a half dozen people surgically altered to look like himself. The whole way in which they found him just doesent make sence, the real saddam is probly basking in the cayman island's somewhere.

even hearing this guy talk is completely different, saddam hussein was very articulate this guy isnt, If it isnt him im sure they know, through dna. yeah I think the whole thing is a setup to appease the usa public, they all of the sudden decide to try this guy, in a time when they are actually stock piling tanks in washington state, in the event there is an uprising, the bush administration is falling apart, cheney is probly going to resign, bushes approval rating are down to 30%.

Wow, that's the first I ever heard of a faked capture of Saddam. And I live in America. And my girlfriend's cousin is home from Iraq. I've never heard a rumor that Saddam was never captured.

They have his DNA. They tested his DNA. They "said" it was him.

Yup..it's the real saddam..thanx to the 4th ID from Texas,he's gonna git his come-uppins,like he should have,a long time ago,but we wasted time waitin on the spine-less,worth-less,corrupt,anti-American,anti-Christian,cowardly UN to handle the situation. Instead of feeding his own people,with the oil-for food program,saddam let em starve,while he built palaces and bought more military equipment with money from the program..and y'all terrorist appeasers compound the situation,by blaming Bush and America,for everything,while excusing the real criminals,of every despicable thing that they do..never seeming to realize just what the islamofascists have to offer in return for your support.

From the videos I've seen from I raq, we could start by smashing his wrists with hammers, or cutting off the tip of his tounge, inject water under his skin and watch it split open, then finish off by throwing him 30ft down onto the hard cement while his hands are tied behind his back.

I'd pay to see that!

I hate this. Why do so many people - yourself included, Torog - think everything is so black and white? Saddam = evil, Bush = good.

You shove your ideas of democracy and justice down the throats of everybody, but when somebody like Saddam is brought to trial you say "fuck him, he's guilty" and start talking about torture or execution and any number of undemocratic things. It's funny how quickly your democratic ideology disappears and you're left looking no better than the people you condem...

What's even worse is that you don't think it's possible that your government could have lied to you.. I'm not saying this dude on trial isn't really Saddam, but until you have any proof other than what you've been shown you can't say for sure.

The war on terrorism he says huh? That's an oxymoron, much like him. War IS terrorism.

People will never forget the 9/11 where 4000 or so people tragically lost their lives, but people seem to forget the 300,000+ innocent civilians who have lost their lives since this war started.

Anyways, Saddam should get a taste of his own medicine. Then we'll worry about Bush ;)
