white jumping dots all up in my soil

last nite when i got home i noticed some tiny lil bugs in the dirt.they were not there the day before.i have them growing on top of a wooden pallet.they are in my garage with some coleman sleeping bags hanging to block out the light.i am using a pull up exercise station to hang my light by bungee cords.there is also a fan blowing on the area to keep things cooler.also i bought some reflective material to wrap around the pallet.also the light is about 30 inches away from the plants .can i bring em closer? im using peters 20-20-20 teaspoon per gallon.im having so much fun doing this.i have never smoked some high quality weed and im gonna soon.any tips would be appreciated.

OMG dude......First off drop your lights to about 5 or 6 inches......by the way what kind of light do you have??? More info upon request and good luck!!

i got 1000w hps i beleive the bulb was made by venture or something like that.the brand is sun system x.i am using organic indoor potting soil from walmart and using 20-20-20 fert.there is so much to learn.

drop your lights about 25 inches man. They can be PRETTY damned close.

make sure to have a fan blowing some air across the top of the plants and the bottom of the bulb....

youve got fungus gnats, from watering too much.

i had that problem.get a spray bottle,put some water in it,put in a small drop of dishwashing liquid and spray the plant.the bugs will go away and the dishwashing liquid wont harm the plants.
