My local headshop has a glass bong that stands about 10" tall, two chambers, and about a 1 1/2" diameter in the cylinder. It has very ornate painting on the sides of chambers, and looks pretty sweet. My only concern is, it costs $140. I don't really mind spending that much, but I'm just wondering if it's overpriced. I was looking at glass bongs on the internet, and while they're not nearly as cool looking, they only cost half the price, sometimes less.

Is $140 too much money for a 10" bong? I didn't think so since my small glass pipe cost $50.

Bong prices vary widely and are dependent on the glass quality and the artistry. I can't really say whether it's a ripoff without seeing the particular piece, but I probably wouldn't pay that much for a 10" bong. A glass bong that size could range in price from $20 to $300 though. It just depends on the piece.

Pure, RooR, Blue Dot all of these bongs are glass on glass and cost upwards of $200 but well worth it. Go with glass on glass, screw designs there for hippies

You're only ripped off if you regret it.

it all depends on how much you wanna spend...glass is definantly the way to go...designs are nice, and paintings on it can show class and taste...

a bong should be a reflect on yourself...buy one that you appeal to, and reminds yow of you...ive seen people love their bong cause its many feet tall, and gives massive rips...but ive also seen people that like their bong just as much, and its only about 10 inches tall...its all dependant on the person...if you like it, go for it...just make sure you look around at others too...

you just gotta find that one special bong man...the one you could spend the rest of your life with... (ha, so cheesy)

i have about a 10 incher for 30 bucks. it is pretty thick glass, but the slide broke the second week. it was my fault though. it has some cool designs and i was surprised on how good of a deal it was.
