It usually takes about an hour to kick in, and can last anywhere from 4-8 hours, depending on what you consider a trip is.

But I wouldn' take triple c's anymore, they're terrible for your body and very, very easy to OD and die from. If you want to trip on DXM, go for a product that has DXM hBr as the only active ingredient. Robitussin cough gels are a good source, as is any other tussin brand.

That's the best way to trip. When you look at it as more of a concious change than a chemical ingestion. Just take it and forget about it and then all of a sudden you'll just be like what the fuck. And you'll have fun. I've kinda taught myself to do that, and when I make myself just forget the whole drug aspect of a trip it makes me a lot more comfortable and less paranoid.
