Damnit, can't one article get it right? It's synthetic, and by the very definition of synthetic, it can't be extracted from a natural source (marijuana as they put it)

This stuff isn't cannabis people. So don't cream your pants just yet

The team injected laboratory rats with a synthetic substance called HU-210, which is similar, but 100 times as potent as THC...Other notable synthetic cannabinoids include:
CP-55940 Produced in 1974; 40-60 times as potent as THC
HU-210 100 - 800 times as potent as THC
...HU-210 is a synthetic cannabinoid that was discovered around 1988 in the group of Dr Raphael Mechoulam at the Hebrew University. HU-210 is 100 to 800 times as potent than natural THC from Cannabis and has an extended duration of action. HU-210 is the (+)-1,1-dimethylheptyl analog of 7-hydroxy-delta-6-tetrahydrocannabinol. The abbreviation HU stands for Hebrew University.....
