I am married to a girl of Jewish ethnicity, who is not religious. Although members of her family support the nation of Israel, I do not think that they really believe a god "gave" them this land. This is preposterous. The U.S. gives Israel the billions in aid, which is mostly used for their military. Without it, theyâ??d be in worse trouble â?? but thatâ??s not our business.

I think that desert living fries the brain or something, because the whole Middle East is a hotbed. My wife and I have no desire whatsoever to visit Israel, or any other Middle-Eastern countries, and I am sure we never will.

In my neighborhood, the Orthodox Jews set off an ear-splitting air-raid siren every Friday evening, five minutes before sundown, as a â??Sabbath warningâ?�, like they do in Israel. This is NOT Israel, and if they want to live that way, they should do it elsewhere.

Most Americans of Jewish background are not involved with the ultra-orthodox sects at all. Most Jews probably support Israel, but they are such a small minority their influence is NOT what people crack it up to be. There is the whole Christian myth that influences our foreign policies and politics.

Because of intermarriage, Judaism will eventually be a distant memory, anyway.

That's a big 10-4..this ain't about land..it's about exterminating all Jews and the State of Israel. In order to make Isreal look like the bad guy? If a Palestinian blows himself up, it doesnt mean that it then becomes necessary to punish an entire people for one man's deeds. Thats what Isreal does through checkpoints, house demolitions, etc in the name of "fighting terrorism". Would you tolerate that here? If a man in the US went on a killing rampage, would you punish his entire family by deomilishing his home, perhaps kill his children? Maybe you would since you support Isreal.

Maybe you dont know that the number of Palestinian deaths far outnumber Isreali deaths. In their war against terrorism, is it that hard not to kill children? In 2004, 8 Isreali children died throigh suicide attacks while 179 Palestinian children were killed at the hands of the Isreali army. And you know what else? Because the Palestinians are not Jews, they often have no legal means to investigate these deaths, accidental or not. Thats the ugly face of Isreal. Being Jewish means more rights are given to you, even if you're a muslim whose family has lived there for generations.

The Israeli's demolish the homes of homicide bombers,because it makes good tactical sense to take out each 'base' of operations..and because it's a strong deterrent to engaging in homicide bombings..well..at least they hope it acts as a deterrent.

I wouldn't trust any info from a site that has 'intifada' in the name,it's most likely used as a site for spreading anti-semetism and outright lies,in order to inflame the emotions of arabs against Jews.

I think that Israel should have all the lands they captured from previous wars..Israel , is a democracy and their security is more important than the surrounding,brutal arab States. I also believe in the building of the security wall,it's already saved both Jewish lives and Israeli-arab lives.

Bush still believes that there's some reason and sanity,in the arab world,that will appreciate his support of the pali's in their quest for statehood..he's fooling himself though,when it comes to Jews and arabs,there's little sanity or reason on the part of arabs towards Jews.
