You may have read in the news on this site about that study showing improved hippocampus neuron growth from cannabinoids being administered. well, today ctv just aired an extensive report on t.v. today :) . for those who dont' know, ctv is basically canada's CNN, a 24 hour national news network, and the biggest in canada. thankfully, canadian news networks are not afraid to air this kind of news, so today the public was well educated in that evil marijuana and what it really does. This should definatley improve society's view on the drug here :) . here's the link to the story.

American TV has long been supporting Marijuana with their reports.

Edit: Not their ads.

the tv shows yes, but they will never have a actual program about the good effecxts of weed. they dont want people to see thats it's good for you becuase if they do and they legalize it, do you know how much money they will stop getting? potheads and others drug people have been paying for the government to do as they please ever since forever. putting us in jail for smoking a little bit of reefer is the best way they can make money and they arent going to stop that. whci is total bullshit.

I'm not disagreeing with you (necessarily), but how exactly does the government profit from putting us all in jail? as far as I know, they have to spend all that money to care for all those new prisoners, and they're missing out on millions and millions of dollars in taxation, not to mention the billions spent on enforcement. so how do you figure they're profitting? :confused:

ok well your right, what i guess i meant to say was that them putting us on probation, and fining us is what is giving them so much money. if they can make my mom who didnt even have anything on her pay a 1,000 dollar fine for seeds and stems then they can make so much more on others. but they are profitting billions of dollars for having weed illegal in the US. if they werent it would be legal. but there is no way that they could really tax it and how would they know if you or someone else has grown what they have or if they bought it from the store? it's not like cig's or alcohal which you have to buy certain chemicals to make it, it's just some good ole' mother nature. well you cant really make cig's but you can make alcohal.

but thats what i meant to say. not that the get money for putting us in jail.

Thats fucking awesome. If I'm ever elected President, I will definitely push for reform. Oh and if you guys EVER see a candidate named Jonathan Caruso.. be sure to vote for him. He will get Marijuana legalized TODAY! He also is pro-choice, thinks America really should be about Freedom, thinks others should be able to live their lives without American influence, is anti-conflict unless absolutely necessary, and thinks America needs to stop relying on other foreign countries for aid, and is going to get these things CHANGED! VOTE FOR ME! ":cool: Vote Caruso 2028 ":cool:

I wouldn't jump the gun just yet-- the scientist conducting this research specifically said that there's a big difference between rats and humans. It's promising, but don't go declaring that pot helps neuron growth or anything until it's officially stated.

Once that happens, get a job as a sports announcer and start heralding this information over the PA system.

It wasn't cannabis...

Ehem, to expand a little;

Not all cannabinoids have the same effects, so i dont see how any1 would assume that herbal cannabinoids have all the same effects that this synthetic has. (HU-210)

I don't recall those claims ever being made about THC and the like.

They said there's a difference, and there is. However, Melatonin levels go up in humans just as much as mice and rats.

Oil companies rule the world if cannabis was legalized it would make oil less of an important commodity thus they lose money simple.
