So I got busted last Thursday in school. I was selling a bag but made up a story so it ended up being furnishing. Got two day suspension and the principal told me he was not going to call the cops. Come back from my Suspension Wednesday he says he called the cops and I am facing a class C FELONY. Fuck that.

i heard on the radio in the UK there going to pass laws so head teachers can peform Stop Search's on any pupil they want, whenever they want. Bad news for my school, the cocaine and marijuana business is thriving LOL!

Agreed. Selling drugs at school is a stupid ass idea... and you're certainly tempting fate by doing so... If you sell at school, you better accept the fact that you can get busted... do it somewhere safe... giving them bud in school when you can wait a few hours to do it afterwards, in a safe enviornment is fucking ridiculously unintelligent...

Authority figures are lyers. They'll say anything to you to get you to tell them what they want to hear. You probably should've immediately consulted with your lawyer after the incident and definetely not said anything before he/she was present. Sorry to hear about your bad situation.

What probably happened was this ...

Little Bart gets sent to Principal Skinner's office. The principal is briefed on the kid, hears that he's not a bad kid, but that he got caught with some weed. The principal, who might be a toker or who might have toked in his younger days, figures that there's no point in thoroughly messing-up the kid's life. So he suspends him, and figures his parents will do whatever's necessary to prevent this from happening again.

Then the principal talks it over with his superiors, or with other teachers, who tell him, dude, you can't assume you know everything. What if -- just what if this kid is involved in more than you think he is. What if he was dealing? (Which he was.) What if he's dealing more than weed? What if something in his dealings goes wrong, and the kid ends up stabbed, shot, or worse? What happens when Channel 0 shows up with the cameras at the school, asking Principal Skinner why he didn't "alert the authorities" to the crimes taking place on his campus?

So he plays cover-his-ass and calls the cops. Maybe he doesn't want to, but after a couple days of this kind of stuff, he figures he has to. Bart gets busted, and the tender mercies of the police are applied to his sorry ass.

And it all sucks.

Many moons ago, when sex was dirty and air was clean, I was seen taking a bag of weed from a dealer at my school. The teacher who saw me bitched me out, telling me that he was really angry that I'd use his classroom for passing weed around. He told me that the next time, he'd have the cops come in and bust me in class. Then he confiscated the weed, and let me go.

The dealer got busted by the cops. They found a substantial stash in his locker, enough so that the staties came in, enough so that the newspapers ranted about it for a week. The kid eventually transferred schools.

Naturally, I nearly shit myself while all this was going on. I never brought weed to school, or bought it at school again. Looking back at it, I think of how much of a break I got from this teacher, and I'm amazed that he gave it to me.

All this happened before anyone had ever heard of crack, and well before the "war on drugs" invented the term "zero tolerance." Times are different and rougher now, with little slack given, and none expected.

If you're going to toke, keep your weed at home. Don't bring it to school, and don't bring it to school sports events, dances, etc. You won't get mercy any more. That sucks, but that's life in the 21st century.
