apologies for the lack of punctuation, shift key is broken.
does anyone know of a movie or tv show that shows what it is like to be high in first person. kind of like how 'fear and loathing' showed the walls flowing for mescalin, did anybody do that for weed/
or maybe some paintings/drawings...

Being high is like being stuck in an episode of Blue's Clues. Things feel unreal, and certain objects seem to stand out as important.
Aside from that, it's hard to visually represent a high that is not very visual.

yeah, plus being high is more than just visual. it changes your thoughts, how you percieve those thoughts, your hearing, basically all your senses. when all of that is put together, that's the "high". people will never know what its like to be high by looking at it "first person" they have to experience it for themselves.

Being high is really hard to put into words. I would have to say that everything is more vivid/colorful. Music is more "deep" and generally better. Things seem more significant. Smells and tastes are elevated. You have different thoughts. Your creativity is increased.

south park had an episode where the kids took some cough syrup and tripped pretty hard. that wasnt bad, actually quite amusing

That's hilarious!! Pretty suprising, too, since the recreational use of cough medicines has gained very little media coverage, at least in a humerous/positive aspect.

its next to impossible to discribe being high on bud like twopac said your senses are increased dramaticly for e.g. on time i smoked some killer shit and was cooking some chicken and you know when you push on meat with a spatula in a frying pan it sizzles? i was doing that and i swear it sounded like music but at the same time i could tell it wasnt.. its like i was in my world and nothing else mattered if that seems vague or stupid forgive me as i am quite stoned at the moment:confused:  :D ps and its different 4 everybody so even if you did find a 1st person ref. it might not be that way for you

As it's been said in the thread already, it's impossible to put a state of conciousness into a visual medium.
