My first attempt.....

Hi,
This is my first attempt at growing, i have 18 plants under 2 envirolites 200watt, i have just changed them to red spec and put them on 12 hour cycle, i have some white ladys and some skunks..... and advice would be great. :)

i`d say that`s lookin real good !!! and it is!! but it does look like u`ve had a fair amount of stretching goin on with them! i don`t see any fans in there and the stems seem a bit thin for their height.
looks to me like u`ve not had enough fans blowin on them and been keeping ur lights a bit too far from them but thats only my humble opinion.
i`d also suggest you fill them pots right up to the top with dirt -- they only look half full to me
but still!!!!!!!!!! nice work!! :D :D :D :D
p.s more light needed 2!!!! definately for that amount of plants!!!

I do have a fan (warm) but i use it to regulate the heat when the lights are not on it drops to 20 or so, so i set the thermostate to keep it at 28, I shall purchase another do you suggest i leave it on permanitly? or just when the lights on?

I am hoping to sex the plants next week and cut down the number, though the lights do give off over 3,000 lumuns per sq foot (according to my calculations :rolleyes: )

Yer u wanna have a fan blowing on them 24/7 - helps to circulate the air and really builds the stems up.( which u need to take the weight of the buds)
Are u planning to flower them all using just 2X 200 watt envirolights cos i don`t really think those lights alone will do the job to be honest.i`d say u`d need at least another 3 or 4 of them lights in there or a 400W HPS to really grow some fat buds.
How old are they by the way??Have u checked any of them for sex yet? i`ve got a plant at the mo that was showing sex at only 4 weeks into veg so u need to keep an eye out for males and get rid of them as soon as u spot them.
