I'm VERY proud of you beachguy. Very.

People need more than bread for their life

This of course means weed???

That has to be it. Jesus wouldn't mean game tokens.

I'm gonna read a few paragraphs around it, and then let you know what I think it means.

My interpretation of this scene between Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, and the Devil:

Well, I can get into a lot of similies and paraphrasing, so I think, Jesus was high at the time and spoke of how weed can replace food.

It's the work of the Green Spirits. That's what he was trying to get through their thick skulls.

i think he means that man can not live on bread alone (as in food) but with god, he can truly live.

Well, Jesus filled himself with Holy Smoke, left the Jordan River and got lost. What was the reason why he didn't eat for forty days? It seems people across the land were turning him down, one after another, in his attempt to beg for food.

When Jesus realized how ridiculous these things were that people were asking of him, he walked off. But he left them with something a stoner would say. "The Scriptures also say, 'Do not test the Lord your God."

The people who ridiculed Jesus turned their backs when they couldn't think of a comeback.

But that comes from me. I've nothing else to rely on but a "marijuana-state-of-mind".
