Anyone get them before? I haven't been up long enough yet, I heard they start happening around day 3 or 4. I wouldn't mind staying up that long to find out.. hmm will have to wait til December break though.

yup, by day 3 1/2, it's real hard to tell whats real and whats not. not good hallucinations. eventualy you body makes you sleep, you pass out at home and wake up at work,or in a feild. constantly asking "is this a dream?"

well actually it because your brain has to rest just like every other muscle in your body. and if it doesn't get enough rest as it needs it just starts to shut off by itself. like a system overload button.
think about it like this, if you were running a marathon for a whole day. by the end of it your legs would feel like jello and you probably will just fall out. your muscle in your legs need rest to recuperate. if you dont take time and rest long enough to build it's strength back they will do it for you.
you see what I'm getting at? if your brain cant recuperate by you sleeping your brain will do it for you. therefore you just fall asleep, or daze out and just pop back in not knowing what you were just doing.

to REALLY start seeing things stay up a week. my friends said she was seeing little green and purple 1 foot people running around her room. really. you can see some crazy shit from sleep deprivation. especially if you stay up a couple of days and then take ex. this is from personal experience but a very close friends experience. it's not good for you to do this but you will definitely be FUCKED UP!! you will see some crazy shit! good and maybe bad.

people can and do have psychotic breaks because of this often times because they cant sleep because of taking something like 'dhea' in large enough doses it causes aggression and hyper, unable to sleep, go long enough you'll lose your mind believe your jesus and crap, I had done an experiement in my 20's on this, and saw lights flashing in the sky like a spider web or a graph, that did not go away, I went around asking all sorts of people if they saw anything unusual in the sky, of course the answer was no, and this was as real as anything you can imagine, I often wonder if someone gave me a huge overdose of acid in a drink or something. weird shit always get plenty of sleep.

yea, and crystal meth can give you very BAD hallucinations from sleep deprivation. not from personal experiences or nothing ( i would NEVER do that crap, I've seen way to many people flip out cause they stayed up way too long on that shit) but my old friends did. i wouldn't recommend staying up too long on that shit.

Well I finally went to sleep after 41 hours, and woke up after 11 hours of sleep. I did have some cool CEVs which were kind of like waking lucid dreams right as I laid down. Like I could control what people said and make them walk places etc. It was pretty cool, then I fell asleep and have no idea what my dreams were.

Today, as i have been going to sleep late and getting up early i was watching tv at college and kept drifting off to sleep, but as soon as my eyes closed i woke back up and was startled each time so i must have been asleep lol..
Also everytime i woke up, i was thinkin' "oh fuck, how long have i been out?!" :)

You need to sleep, unless you're doing this for hallucinations..

Being tired is never nice

i know its not nice. Well, what happend was i was slowly starting to become nocturnal. I would go to bed at like 7AM and wake up in the late day. So i want to set my sleep cycle to normal, and in order to do that, i need to stay awake untill like 9 or 10 at night.

I stayed awake for six days once.

I just don't react to seeing weird shit though.

Green people....

PS-Heavymetal101-The brain is not a muscle. Everything else was basically correct though. I suggest Adderol.

i've had a couple hallucinations because of lack of sleep, luckily i went right to sleep afterward. it has been proven that people can die from sleep deprivation, and a lot of factors take place. weak immune system, psychosis. and of course the loss of being able to perform everyday duties.

"A study at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine showed that poor sleep and sleep deprivation in older adults can lead to earlier death, but another survey of more than a million people in the 1980s found that those who slept more than seven and a half hours tended to die a little earlier."

I was once up for three days because I was buzzin on meth and after smokin a few bowls started noticing letters on my screen leapfrogging each other.
Apparently sleep deprivation can cause damage to the mind
