YES, THEY CAN SURVIVE IT. THE SMOKE IS A BIT HARSHER, BUT NO LESS POTENT. BUT I HAVE TO DRY FAST ANYWAY. I LIVE TO CLOSE TO "IN TOWN" IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I DID NOTICE THAT A MOST OF THEM SEEM TO BE CRAWLING UP TO WHERE THE STALKS ARE TIED TOGETHER UPSIDEDOWN, AND MAKING A LITTLE WEB AT THE TIPS. BUT THAT'S WHERE THEY ARE ALL CONGREGATING LIKE BUDDIES. ANY HELP ABOUT THE HEAT THING WOULD BE GREAT. OR OTHER INPUT ON THIS. THANKS!!! :D :p

increase humidity they absorb too much liquid and pop, and as far as high temps and weed I personally feel too high a temp will make plant shut down, but i'm stoned

I DRY IN THE ATTIC OF MY HOME. SO WOULD A HUMIDIFIER WORK, LIKE WHAT YOU WOULD PLUG IN AND USE IF YOU HAD A COLD W/ A STUFFY NOSE???? NEED ANSWERS FAST PLEASE!!! THANKS!! :D

well, the sure way to put an end to them is to lower the temp.. lower it below 65... keep a fan on your plants, they will still dry fast..
there is a chance that 110 degrees will only perpetuate the mite problem..
I read somewher that mites at 70 degrees multply 10 fold a day.. mites at 85 degrees multiply at 1000 per day.. yikes.. so 110 may be a paradise...
if you increase humidity you are running a serious chance of getting mold....arghh

Your bombing a plant that is already harvested? won;t that poison get into your ungs when you smoke?
I think your better off just smoking the mites.. hehhehehe
good luck and let us know what happened?
thanks

LOTS OF US PROBABLY BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS, AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WE HAD CRAWLING ON OUR PRETTY LADIES, AND NOBODY'S DIED FROM SMOKIN' A FEW DEAD SPIDER MITES, NOT THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD OF ANYWAY. PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL, AND THANKS FOR THE INPUT!!!!!!! :D :p ;)

I looked at the crabs real close too. And they actually look like little crabs.. They use their pinchers and eat the hair and then they camp out in the hair folical and lay eggs... visualize that!!

ahhahha... I SAW it...
you know what else he would do...
He'd bring the altoid containerout and then light a clove or a cigarette and then put the burning end of it into the container and get a couple crabs on the end... then he'd take a hit... He would laugh and the say somrthing like... "I sacrafice yee to thy gods" .. then he'd laugh.. and we'd all just look at each other... in bewilderment..
it is the truth and this guy smoked tons of weed.. and was SUPER COOL.. well, except for this crab thingy...
I am actually ok with it.. and condone his behavior.. : )

Crabs are gateway critters. Your friend will later be smoking his tapeworms.

They can survive the heat , and long periods of dark.Mike's right, you can pop them with humidity.I've been fighting them for 2 1/2 years now.I now have them under control.I use bombs regularly during veg and half of flowering.A real good fog at the start of veg with Pyrithium, then a lite fog every 7 days till flowering. At the start of flowering another lite fog of the same. Then 14 days later I use Preclude(food grade insecticide) and finish with 1 more Preclude 7 days later. This is the only method that has worked for my situation. Preclude has a 7 day residual so it is very handy close to harvest.Oh yeah, make oil or bh out of that stuff, don't smoke bugs

Hey, check this out, I found that you can put your shit in the microwave after it is harvested, and almost dry. Put it in there for like 30 seconds or so, then just shake the little dead bastards off. It works, I've tried it. I put in like 1/2oz at a time, and shake it off. I'm not wasting 3lbs of harvest, forget that!!!!!! No one would. Besides, I have Epilepsy and use it for medicinal too. I live in Nor Ca. towards the mountains, and grow outside in a greenhouse, so I won't use the greenhouse again untill probably May 06. So what can I pour into the ground, and coat the damn walls with, so it will kill the dormit ones, and eggs and all that stupid crap. I really have great soil there. Mixed myself. Lotta work, but well worth it. :stoned: :D
