would the 2 500's be as powerful...I know it will be more spread out.
I'm growing 12 plants and plan to veg for awhile as to get the plants to the biggest size possible in that room.

They have 500's, I suggest for 2 600Watts.. and since you know they spread better.. I will give you a fiiferent reason.. you may decide later to do a SOG,etc... where you need on light for VEG and one FLower, this way you would have the light allready.. Also.. if a bulb blows in one... you have the other until you get a replacement... or if one ballast fails,etc,etc..

nice,nice.
Exactly why I asked.
600's what I meant but I wasn't sure if they made 500's but I'd rather have 2 600's anyway.
I am planning on getting a light rail for the 1000 w HPS if I don't get the 2 600's...
...I forgot to mention that,so with that in mind anyother opinions?

ya know,
You really can work both situations very nicley..

A light rail requires a litel more work upon instalation butyou can get the light really close to the tops of theplants... 2 600's really does cover more space.

A 1000 cost less to set up and the electricity is cheaper.. and theoreticallly it should give bigger buds..

hmmmmmm...

I wish I had your problems.. hhehaha

Yeah I wish I had your problem too, I have a 400WATT HPS and I should have bought a 600, but now I am gonna buy a 600WATT and if grow out of my paranoia I am going to do a Hydro SOG, Veg in one close with a 400Watt MH + FLors , Flower with a 600Watt HPS.. and try to get 3-5 ounces a month...

Those are floro I think and only work if it's super strong....just invest in an HPS....]way better I think.
I believe the differant numbers are wattage put out and wattage used, maybe.
HPS will give you more of the end product your looking for.

Sharpe,
That curly light uses 40 Watts... but it's comparable to a 150W incandescent.

Simple, eh?
