i was just wondering how you guys get microscopic like pics
of your trichs out of just a 4 megapixel camera.

I still haven't done it, but from what I understand, you buy a magnifier (30x or more powerfull) @ Radio Shack or something. Now, this magnifier can't be about 3 inches in diameter... it has to be small... like 1inch diameter @ the most... I think half an inch diameter would work better.

Then, you put the magnifier against your camera's lens, and focus as you normally would. I hope this helps... and I hope I ain't talking bullshit, as I still haven't done this.

my camera has a macro setting. It fixes the lens and you focus by moving the camera. It takes pretty nice shots

i have a post i used a magn. eyeglass style like you would use for stamps,coins, jewelry ect. hold it up to the camera lens my cam has a 700x zoom and stay very still until the auto focus does its work and shoot
