What would John look like as an old man?
Would he have had any other kids?
How many more classic songs would he have penned by now?
What would he have to say about the war in Iraq?
Would he have ever fully made up with Paul?
Would there have been a Beatles reunion before George died in 2001?

So many questions we'll never know the answer to because John was taken from us 25 years ago.

Please share your feelings and memories about John and the Beatles and help me honor John on his birthday!

Watching The Wheels (acoustic)

i miss his genius

no other person in my mind has made more of a impact upon music
by being murdered by some idiot like he was changed how things are.

I can remember hearing the beatles songs in my uncle's plymouth fury playing on a 8 track, I loved those songs then, and still do now. Has it been 25 years? It's painfull thinking back to those times, because they were so great, and innocent, as they never were again.

Imagine all the people.
hey Jude

I don't have any personal memories of him because he was murdered when I was 6, but, what a shame to lose someone so talented. He inspired so many people and changed music forever. I can get over the whole Yoko thing because, hey, even geniuses fall in love, I guess. Lucky for us, we can still enjoy life and his music for as long as we are here.

John was killed 5 years before I was even born, but I feel like I know him because I identify so well with his lyrics and his character, as shown through old videos and such, is still so alive to me. With the help of John, the Beatles became one of the few bands that can remain relevant and inspirational for generations to come. I mean... do you know anybody who doesn't have at least one Beatles song that they absolutely LOVE?

Listening to the Beatles has influenced the person I am and the person I want to be. Pretty good for a band that broke up 15 years before I was born.
