I'd been waiting for more info. from you guys, and my new dvd "SeeMoreBuds" which came yesterday (very informative) I waited before taking about 50plus more cuttings last night. Well this morning they're limp, an laying over :( I'm devastated over this. Before I had a PPM meter, and before I ever checked ph, and before I got my heat pads, I had better luck. ?? I remember when I first got the heaters, the cuttings would reach for the light, big time. Please could somebody give me some advice? I'd hope for 1 good crop before I go to The Philippines for treatments later this year. (Anybody want to go? I'm your guide!) Can anyone explain when/how much hydrocodone and epson salt? Thanks in advance Guys! BTW; Is there any chance these clones will stand up? What do you think of the others? Pretty light green, huh? Its been well over a month waiting for these to flower, they look like they might eventually. Thanks Donnie

:o Damn man, If I ever had a red headed step child :p roflmao
Look here  Question's 1. What do you have those clones in?
2. Did you read the my cloning thread in hydro forums...
http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=25408
Now, if you read this you will notice that I don't use heat or domes and it is about 70 degrees in that room.
3. did you read the cloning 101 thread in growfaqs, that Zandor wrote?
http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=23400
# 1 we do not use heating pads or domes...we both get a 95-100% success rate with our cloning methods...we use a rooting hormone gel/powder (I use Schultz rooting powder) an anti-wilt spray (a waxy spray that can be found as a plant cleaner/shiner...similar to what produce managers spray on their fruits/veggies in the grocery store)
Anti-wilt can be found at 4hydroponics.com or you can buy Miracle grow leaf shine from wally's...that is what I use...I spray it once right after I mount clones in bubbler and once when I see roots starting to form in 10-14 days...
Now forget all the old ways; step up and enjoy the high rate of cloning success that some of us already cherish...goodluck :D

I RECENTLY HAD SOME CUTTINGS, AND ANOTHER GUY SAID TO TAKE OFF THE DOME, AND WHEN I DID THEY DIED WITHIN AN HOUR. I'M USING THE JELL, I GUESS I COULD TRY WITH OUT THE HEAT PADS, AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS, CAUSE I ALREADY CUT ALL THE CLONES I COULD GET. THANKS!

BTW; I'M USING THE CUBES IN A FLAT WITH DOME AT THIS TIME, MY AEROCLONER WILL BE IN USE THIS WEEK, AS SOON AS I HAVE CUTTINGS TO TAKE. WHAT A BUMMER. DONNIE

WELL I GUESS I'LL TRY TURNING OFF THE HEAT PADS FOR NOW, AND HOPE 2-3 LIVE. I FEAR SHOULD I TAKE MY DOMES OFF THEY'LL BE DEAD IN 20 MINUTES. IF I USE THE ANTI WILT STUFF WHEN THEY'RE IN THIS BAD OF SHAPE, THEY'LL STAY THAT WAY. THANKS, DONNIE

Donnie,
What's up? Dude, I'd like to give you the thumbs up for your efforts. I'm sorry to see that your clones won't make the cover of HighTimes, but man, you are definitely trying. How much have you learnt in the last 7 days? shitloads That's great!
I read Latewood's post above, and I'm in the process of reading his links as I'll be doing this soon (ok, maybe 1 - 1.5 months?). Very usefull advice he gives. Donnie, quick question: What's your cloning time? I've never done this, so I'm just going off with imagination... but I was thinking....:::
Is it possible that you started cutting all those clones, and then, after you had them all cut, you started planting them? So, maybe the cuttings didn't take too well to the waiting to be placed into your medium (Rockwool?). That is, if you even did it this way... Maybe you just cut, planted, cut, planted, etc.
Ok, that's it for now... that crude, home-made vaporizer really kicks ass...

I cut them 1 at a time, and place them in the cubes. I turned off them heat pads today, and look forward to have my aerocloner Tuesday. I think the wilt stuff sounds good if you use it before they get wilted. :) We'll just keep trying. Anyone near Kansas City? Take care, and thanks for the positive attitude Turtle, and everyone. Donnie :D

well, the good news is...you ordered an aerocloner...after that you will have it made...
when you take cuttings you should put cutting IMMEDIATELY into water...not cubes...you may have airlocked them and that is why they are dying...imho

Thanks again Everybody! Latewood what did y9ou mean? I always cut them, and then dip the into a jell. then place them in some presoaked cubes in a flat. This flat has holes in it, and you set it into another flat. Once a day dip them and supposedly this gives oxigen to the plants. Drain it good, and put it back into the second flat, put on the dome, and was putting them on heat pads under 3 shoplites. I use Olivia's 6 oz. per gal. until they root. Its been so long since I've got that far, I doubt I'll know what to do, stand bye!! thanks Donnie
