undefinedI READ ON ANOTHER FORUM PUTTING VINIGER AND BAKING SODA IN A CUP WOULD PRODUCE C02 IS THIS TRUE AND IF I DID THIS WIV A COUPLE OF CAMERA FILM POTS AND PLACED AROUND MY PLANTS WOULD IT HELP????

Yes it will produce C02, not sure if it'll help the plants though.

Pure, compressed Co2 (for pistol lol)

But i have no idea about making it :D

here's an even cheaper method put 4 cups of sugar in a gallon of water and add a few drops of your urine this will give you all the ''yeast'' you need put a balloon over the top and poke a hole in it. wala instant co2 production that costs nearly nothing.

also misting with seltzer water will work as well

Wow, that's cool seedbare!

yeah the vinegar and bakind soda will work, if you live in a major city it may not be necessary to add co2 because the cars keep the co2 level high anyway. co2 makes a huge difference in plant growth not many soil farmers use the method, but nearly all hydropnonically grown plants do, this accounts in part for the 81% larger yield enjoyed by those farmers.

Yeast sugar and water'll do it.

also thanks seedbare that is a good trick to know

and i live in center of london but its in small cupboard so i think they may be suffocating from heat from lights (75 is perfect?)

Yes,,many simple chemical and biological materials will produce Co2.But,,,it what amount given a "practical" amount of reactant. You do not want a 55 gallon drum of wort(reactive yeast/grain/sugar mix) stinking up the place. It might very well cover up the smell of growing MJ.Acid /base reactions like vinegar and bicarb. of Soda are short lived and dont produce much gas.You know plants produce C02 on their own during the dark phase.Just not enough to do anything when the lights come on.The only 100% method I know of is to crack the valve on a tank of compressed gas.Besides, after 30 yrs of growing I not sure its worth the effort.-SMOKEJAGUAR

Chisme - 1 back of sugar, disolved into 8 pints ( a uk gallon) of water, add some form of fruit juice if you want (ie apple juice, or just ditch the water in favour of apple juice) then add some brewers yeast (avaiable from Boots). Let it go crazy, and at the end you increase your yeild + have a gallon of cider to drink

I have started to build out twin rooms so that night air vents to the day room. I had friends that did it in Amsterdam and it worked wonders. They had huge buds.
All your stuff sounds so cool, but I agree the tank is the way, with the proper valves and gear. Too expensive for me. I think you need 2000 to 4000 ppm in the air and if too much the plants will hyper ventilate. My friends plants all puffed up and died cause he just let the co2 go without measuring.
CO2 is a known great additive, just how to deliver in an economic way. The pills in the water are not the way, it has to be delivered as a gas from above, not from roots up. The stuff I looked at were priced around 600 or so to really control it properly. They say it doubles the yield. Any first handers?

so a home brew kit expelling gas in one direction would work and ill have booze? even better :D

Unless you sterilize all this equipement and follow clean controls dont drink any of this"cider".Your intestines will thank you.-usdi Agaluga

Sterilizing kit = £0.59 from boots the chemist. Honestly, this methods works, and you get some extra bangs for you r buck! but yeah, sterile all the way

Haha.. vinegar and baking soda is what kids use in their volcano science experiments. It foams up when mixed together, try it, it's fun. :D
