Music, light, and some home made ferts

:confused: Ok the first thing is earlier today i was germinating some seeds and i put them under my bet to sit, mean while i was listening to billy talent on my sterio system REALLY loudly and after the cd was done i went out but wen i came back and checked the seeds, the taproots had all came out of the seed, i was wonderin if vibrations help the seed while germinating?

Also i was wondering if i can use an orange light for growing my plants, ive heard roumers about it so i was just makin sure it wont screw my plants ovr or nethin?

and i found this site that gave me some ideas for ferts (ex..egg shells grounded in to a powder) so i just want to share the information with all my fellow growers.

I don't know what type of music you were playing, but I do know that plants definately respond to music. There are a lot of mixed thoughts on this, as there is not a lot of scientific info on it, it is more pseudoscience than actual science really, but you can find some great information on it as well.
