There is this really neat thing you can do... a lot of "awareness practitioners" watch the mind.. stand gaurd.. be attentive to the body.. always keep some of your awareness on yourself.. the body... they do this so to never loose themselves in the world.. when on gaurd like this..nothing can suprise you.. not even death.

but MOST people have no idea what they are talking abot because it is a tough nt to crack..

BUT, you can do the opposite.. you can try to go unconcious,,, try not to pay attention.. it cause the brain to do a subtle flip flop and will open a moment of "silence" .... the mind will eventually catch on and a practinioner has to go back to practicing awareness.. but it is a good method to get a glimps for those that have the minimal amount of energy it takes to SEE..

but for sake of this conversation we could say, yes mediattation as long as it is understood that meditation is not someting we do sitting under a tree. legs crossed.. contimplating blah blah blah .. it is a something we are always doing.. always self aware.. even when we are poon gazing and poon handling!!

To meditate is to be in a state that you are actually yourself.. nothing can bother you ... nothing upset you.. you react to nothing... you don't even scratch your head.. unless YOU SCRATCH IT.. this requires someone to be on GAURD

..and most people need to sit still to practice this type of INTENSE. single mindedness.. the ultimate gaurd. ... so that's why it's called meditation.. cause in the "begining" your practice may require you to put aside time everday to be on gaurd.. until it becomes natural.. 10 minutes or 5 hours everyday being on gaurd sitting (meditating)

There's two different categories of colour.

1-Colour in Physics - color is what we see when certain object reflect certain wavelengths of the visible spectrum. A blue object reflects only blue light waves to our eyes, same with any other colour. White, however, reflects all the colors of the spectrum, that's why it's white, and black reflects NO colors from the spectrum, but absorbs all light. That's also why when we wear black clothing in the sun, it gets very warm. The primary colours in this case are Red - Green - Blue, what we use to adjust things like TVs and computer monitors, which emit light. So lateralus is right on this point.

2-Colour in Art - when we draw or paint, it's a different story. We're using pigments to colour things and the rules for seeing them don't change, but the rule for applying them is totally different. Here, the primary colours are Cyan - Magenta - Yellow, and it's by mixing these three colors at varying degrees that we get all the colours. However, white in this case is the total absence of color (go ahead, try to get white paint by mixing cyan, magenta and yellow paint) while black is the presence of every colour at full intensity. So black, in this case, is indeed a colour.

We just give "nothing" a name. Actually I don't think the "lack of sound" exists at all. It can be relatively silent, but there is always sound going on somewhere in the universe whether it be from your heartbeat, the plates slowly grinding eachother, or gases on a faraway planet.

You cant see anything techniqually, you only can see the light that is reflected off of that object. and you cant see black either, because an object that is black doesnt reflect light (we never see true black). Think of a black hole, you cant see a black hole because it absorbs light, but yeah idk where im going with any of this. so Yeah later.
