what's the diff?

besides color, what is the difference between indoor grown and outdoor grown weed? (besides the obvious, i'm talking QUALITY here). Sometimes i get the feeling that outdoor bud has a piney smell to it while indoor bud often smells a little bit like vinegar. it may just be the type of bud, but is the only difference i can make.

That's dependant on strain, not whether it's indoors or outdoors (although that itself is dependant on strain), so yeah. There isn't a difference in quality between the two either, everything depends on it's strain, not where it's grown.

Some experienced grower can probably answer this less shittily though. :)

im guessing that indoor bud can be better...the climate is capable of being controlled...but you also cant grow 200 plants in your closet...

there really is no specific difference. Usually, and I say usually, because there are exceptions, indoor is usually more potent than outdoor. Only because you can totally control all of the aspects of your grow. Outdoor grown typically tastes and burns better than indoor b/c it is usually all organically grown in soil with natural ferts, whereas and indoor hydro setup normally uses chemical ferts and if they arent flushed completely before harvest than they can taste and smell off. Sometimes they even spark b/c of too much nitrogen still in the bud.
