Insidesun.com 600/1K Watt HPS? Opinions needed

I am looking to supplement a 400WATT HPS i got of EBAY. I look at Insidesun.com and they have some pretty cheap prices.. But I must admit the Ballast looks like a cheesy steel box, where my other ballast looks like it is made mch better.. I was wondering if anyyone has any opinions.. are they worth it.. how long has your last... heat problems? etc....Service + delivery, customer service, etc....

1000 for BIGGER BUDS..

600 for easier overall handling and still big buds if you have great airflow and keep light close to plants

I've purchased 2 lights from Insidesun. They work great, and the customer service was good. Fast delivery as well.

Yes you are correct, but I am not wondering about the which light to get.. I am wondering about the quality of their products.. You get what you pay for and there prices are pretty inexpensive.. I guess I am more concerned about the ballast.. It just look like cheesy steel box, compared to some of the other brands.. but if the guts are good then I guess it would be ok, I will probably get a 600WATT to supplement my 400Watt and get more light coverage or use the 600 Watt to FLOWER and the 400 Watt to Veg with some flors.. Thanks for the advice

Yea those tin cans look like something from WW2.

I am sure they are ok, but yourself said, "You get what you pay for."

Those older ballasts are nowhere as efficient and stable as the ones made today. I am sure they work.....but.......

Sometimes the prize at the bottom of the cereal box jsut sucks too :)

the ballasts at insidesun are fine. mine works perfectly, but its a refurb so yeah its not all that pretty, but it does the job. i would imagine the insidesun ballast NEW would be phenomenal?? plus the guys great replies to ur emails and gives you a tracking number.. he ships dhl i usually get my stuff in 3 days if i order early in the week
