Just did DXM for the first time

I took 135 mg a few days ago. I weigh 130 lbs. After about an hour I started to feel intoxicated. After 1.5 hours I felt extremely drunk and somewhat nauseated. It really wasn't that great an experience, but I was out of weed and alcohol so I ran to the store and bought some.

Ive found you have to take 300mg+ to get crazy visuals and such.

That's a pretty miniscule dose, I'd recommend at least 300 for an enjoyable experience.

Having a job rocks the only problem is that you still don't have a constant influx of money, instead I wait like fucking forever, about half a month and then buy a fat fucking sack. So I still have to use my lunch money or chore money if I want to smoke more often.

I usually take 600-800 dose..2-3 big bottles of nyquil..just down them and then spend my time trying not to throw up..and my stomach feels like shit. But then all of the sudden..I stand up..and can't feel anything and shit's spinning and i'm starting to think..Why the fuck is this legal and weed not?

I like to use something safer... like Ketamine or something. Oh wait... is it just because DXM is easy to get? That's why everyone does it? God... tried it, and it feels pretty weak.

Plus, (to the thred starter) 130 mgs isn't enough. My first trip was with 300mg and I just felt slightly dissociated and un-coordinated. But when I laid down later in the trip... this one time... I got some pretty cool visuals. But it was so far into the trip that I thought it was wearing off... so not expecting it. I only laid for a minute before I jumped out of it and said "WTF". So I can imagine that your trip wasn't so great.

dude id say be 18 before u do drugs, 90% of the people i know aren't mature enough to decide what they really want to do, infact i have only met one person who was actually ready to smoke weed at 13 because he was responsible and mature as hell for his age. im 18 now and will be 19 within a week and im still not sure if i want to try dxm or anyting harder then weed shrooms and salvia, but atleast i have the maturity level to know that i dont think i am ready. i dont want you to think imma dick but chill on the drugs, stay with weed.

I read some FAQ on recreational DXM use and I followed the recommended dose for a "first plateau" experience for someone my weight. I think I actually skipped the first plateau and went a little into the second, because that's how my experience seemed to me. Not at all psychedelic, just intensely drunk feeling.

I'd like to try DXM again, but I'm not really comfortable downing two - three bottles of cough syrup or 40-60 pills. I actually felt pretty nauseated just from the nine I took. I mean, there have to be some pretty bad side effects taking 800 mg of DXM, right?

dont knock it until you try it lol. dxm is a really fun trip... lots of closed eye visuals and shit... the inability to walk, speak, do pretty much any everyday activity... its fun sometimes. id still prefer shrooms to trip off of instead but i think a dxm trip is better than acid IMO.

Yeah, I imagine it's probably pretty cool...But I can also imagine that chugging a bottle of cough syrup or whatever does way more harm to your insides than good. I don't like any prescription drugs, and I don't know why anybody would want to take more than you're supposed to.
