mix lots of perlite with your dirt especially if you are a newbie... perlite can be bought for $3 a bag at Home Depot...


30-50% perlite per 50-70% dirt..

perlite provides air for roots and helps prevent over watering from all you over-zealous newbies who try to water and feed your plants to death!! : ) LOL
