I just had a suprise urinalysis and I cannot stop stressing.

The test was this morning, Sept 30th, when I went into work. Up until the 10th I had been completely clean for almost a year, and I smoked about 5-6 hits that night (Saturday), and was tested on the 16th (That following friday). Luckily, I was given a heads up an hour and a half prior to the test and was able to start drinking water heavily until I was voiding clear urine every 15 minutes, and had urinated roughly 20 minutes before I gave my sample. I came up negative on the UA, which I believe is the RIA (Radio ImmunoAssay)with a 50 ng/ml cutoff.

Now, for those of you that are wondering why they accepted my clear and obviously diluted sample. Being well hydrated is an important part of my job, and a clear urine sample on a random test suffices.

On that Friday night after the test, I split a joint with three other people and had about 5-6 hits, thinking we were in the clear and that we wouldn't be tested again for another month at least.

I am about 5'10 and 145 lbs, and of an athletic/skinny build. I excercise every week day including fast paced runs and long distances, and weight lifting. My body fat is low, and I have a fairly quick metabolism.

Now, this morning, after two weeks of abstaining from a single-use session, we had another random urinalysis. I urinated when I first woke up about 45 mins prior, and when I came into work and realized they were setting up for a piss test I managed to run off and squeak off a few small squirts. I went into the holding room and drank about 4 large cups of water on an empty stomach and had to urinate badly roughly 45-50 mins later. Under the watchful eye of an observer, I filled the cup and it was a very light yellow, almost clear.

I have been stressing constantly, and would really like the re-assurance of someone with the wisdom so set me straight on some stuff.

What are my odds of passing?

damn, that sucks. I wanna say that you're fine, but who knows. there's obviously a chance that something will show up, but if you drank enough water, then you're probably fine. just wondering, what do you do for a living? they really seem to love testing.

I hate to say it, but I am in the military. Shit happens when you get drunk.

I'm done fuckin around because this shit is too much stress, all my pals are telling me not to worry and that I am more than good, but it's that little inkling in the back of my head.

yea, I'm not sure what would happen if you failed drug test in the military. I'm sure that they would do more than just 'fire' you. I hate to say it but I would stop smoking if I were you. Even if you don't like it, knowing that you were discharged form the military for getting high would probably haunt you for the rest of your life. The last thing we need is someone else blamming the way they ended up on weed. Good luck man.

Well, I won't get fired or kicked out, but I will have to go to alot of classes, pull extra duty (working from 6am to 9pm, hard), and probobly not get promoted for a while. It is definantly not worth it, but like I said, it's easy to fuck up when you're drunk.

that's ohh so true, well if that's the worst that will happen, then I wouldn't be too worried then. I'd still hold off till is was out if I were you. it's only really fun if you can get high without having to worry about what will happen if you do.

Hey, my friend got kicked out of the navy for testing positive. Haven't spoken to him in a few years, but I'm pretty sure that he was "dishonorably discharged".

Well, I am not in the Navy, and on a first positive UA for THC, you are sent to ASAP (army substance abuse program), and on the second, you are discharged.
