Distinguishing sex?

Somebody tell me a really easy method of distinguishing sex... and when I should be able to. Any pics would be really helpful... I'm in day 20 and although some light burns (I assume) on some leaves, they are looking decent, but not sure when I'm able to distinguish. Thanks all!

the female has little white hairs at the top and on the nodes,males will have little balls on the nodes, you should be able to tell a few days after you switch to 12/12 you should wait at least 10 more days to switch though. remember hairs = good, ball = bad
