Maloha peeps
I have lurked an posted here for a few weeks and realised i havent even posted my setup.
well here it is.
My whole grow area is 4ftx 4ft however I only use 2ftx4ft for plants as the fans and rez take up some room
For light and ventilation I employ a:
600watt lucagrow lamp
an 8 inch inline exhaust (i use for intake)
a 6 inch fan (looks like a computer fan but is more powerful) for exhaust
a 27 inch fan on a stand for the light
a 22 inch fan for circulation on the plants
For growing method (1)(DWC) I employed
2 x 45 litre rez's
2 x airpumps with dual outlet
4 x 6 inch airstones
GH 3 part, ph down, and guardian (advance nutes)
For growing method (2)(current) (a drip feed reticulating system)I employ
3 x 11" x 10" buckets (dunno the literage) (i did have 6 buckets but pulled the males and ended up with three pots and scrogged them. buckets have two drain holes, one is 2 inches above the other so if roots grow into the first one and block it , the 2nd one takes over as drain.
1x 65 litre rez
1 x 45 litre rez that is at drain level to hold the drain pipes, it has holes in the bottom to drain to main rez(you'll understand better when you see the pics)
1 x 3000 litre an hour pump
Drip rings

My lights are off at the moment , but when lights come back on, i'll post some pics of the setup as it is now.
anyway heres some pics of results from last grow, it took me and my bro 2 months to smoke all that, and my bro got busted with 3 ounces too, gotta 800 buck fine for it. I yielded around 8 ounces , but i know where i could have improved it, and surely have so next crop of bubblegum and black Spice will be the shit!

How long were those in veg/flower? They look beautiful. I've been looking into getting Low Ryders and eventually crossing them with other plants due to the getting 2 yields instead of 1 (if you were to start one only atfer the other grows complete.) Also, how much did your setup cost, minus the painting and framework you did which is still nice BTW. Also, what's up with that one in the bathroom? Was that like a porn shot of it taking a shower? :D

Gday thug, thanx man , LMAO , that plant was being pulled that day it was one of 4 in that room in DWC, BTW I Suffered Bad root rot from high temps too and they still managed to pump!
I veged them for 19 days after the clones had been cut, about 5-7 days for clones to root, then about 12 days under the 600.
cost was (in aussie $)
light= 300$
inline exhaust= 130$?
little exhaust= 50$
circulating fans 22"= 16$, 27"=27$
DWC tubs& lids=60$
airpumps 13$ x2, airstones= 2$x 4
Nutes= 10$ i got GH cheap from hydro guy, he had old stock, and doesnt stock it anymore, but the 1litre bottles of gh are fuckin 30 bucks a peice, fuck that.
new system is 6 pots x 25$ each (comes with rings, clay and top tray and grommets.)
30$ for 8m of good 19mm pipe & about 10 bucks for t's & elbows for the pump line.
22$ for a 65 litre rez.
hanna combo meter=$200
nutes= 50$ for 4 x 5 litre grow and bloom.
and 300$ for beans from HS
I know only use 3 buckets as i was growing form seed and out of 8 plants only 3 were female, and have them lsted first then scrogged, these buggers are stretchy fuckers!
its about 10 days into flwer and there are plenty of little bud formations, and stretch is slowing down
yeh i dont know too much about that lowrider strain, im sort of tuned to growing normal kinda plants, what are the advantages of it really over normal plants?

nah mate no filter, the exhaust goes into the ceiling, not much smell with only 600 watts although sometimes i can smell it in the bathroom where there is another exhaust, it comes through that hole, but at the moment I havent grown any canadian strains that can get stinky, last grow in this room was an aussie sative, that did stink but was manageable without a filter

IMO Low Ryder is better to grow for a few reasons.
No MH needed (they don't veg so HPS is best bulb for entire life of a Low Ryder.)
If grown outside they can grow at anytime during the year.
If grown inside they don't really give a shit where you put em (flower/veg room)
The only problem I see with the strain is that if grown in hydro and you find a male and want to pollinate one female to get seeds for next grow...its very hard. So you'd probably have to keep buying seeds.
