Since I started smoking weed heavily I have picked up a stutter, even when I'm not stoned. I sometimes cant seem to get my words out, it's not a bad stutter, but sometimes I have to stop what im saying & start again because I fucked up, & this has only been happening since I smoked heavily.
Has anyone else had this or a similar thing happen to them as a result of smoking weed?
I can just feel my brain process the info that I say slower than normally.

Try seeing a speech therapist, or even a counselor. You can treat it as you like, but you'll have a good time.
Maybe watch some Tom & Jerry and talk for Jerry out loud, but, in your head, talk for Tom.

I saw one as a child, they made me speak slightly posh that has stuck with me until today. I don't wanna speak posh even more.

I saw one after my coma. Then in outpatient therapy. The third lesson she told me that I'll no longer be needing her services.

Broadsided by a car going 55 MPH (about), on the passenger side, pushed the door through the clutch and into my seat. The other driver broke his leg. I've never broken a bone in my life. I only remember one incident after me and my friend walked back from the bus station after our trip to Boston, concerning a cockroach. The next thing I remember is my Brother's dog licking me in the face, as I was sitting in a wheelchair out in front of Virginia Beach General Hospital. I couldn't have planned it better myself.

It's how I work. No idea why but i prefer people not knowing my status. Even on MSN im always signed in but appear off-line. Dunno why.

As you are noticing it more and more it will become more of a problem. That is how it goes. Relax and it will probably disappear. It is not "symptomatic" in a medical way. Slurred speach happens, but brother, we are stoned, that is part of the deal. By the way, the fact that it continues to times you are "not stoned" really indicates you are too conscience of it, and that can really cause it to grow. I think they call it a compulsion.
Like most here, there is really no problem with some alteration in speach, mouth getting dry, munchies, they happen. Not all the time, and in varying degrees. From some of your other posts it would seem your life is a bit harsh and you walk through some bad neighborhoods, perhaps this adds to the tension increasing nervous response? Maybe you would be stuttering incoherantly if it were NOT for cannabis?

I've personally foind my vocabulary and eloquence improving over the law few years, which is how long i've been smoking heavily.
Recently I haven't been smoking heavily at all, though, and it's only recently that i've realise my vocabulary increasing. So has smoking weed increased my vocabulary and eloquence over the last few years nd i've only just noticed it, or has it only started improving since I stopped smoking heavily?
I've been trying to figure that out lately.
Anyway, I recommend you just take a break from smoking for a while. Seriously. Whenever somebody says "I've been [insert problem here] since I started smoking heavily" the best advice is always just to take a break, see if the problem persists. If not then you know it's the weed, if it does then it's safe to say you can carry on tokin. :)

My vocabulary has increased since visiting this site, also my typing, i used to type in "text language" (e.g. hi how r u? im gd thnx, u? whereas now, it's "Hi, how are you? I'm good thanks, you?) all the time on msn, and when i had to type properly like this, i found it took me a long time, so thanks cannabis.com for helping me type properly, fast:D
And yeah, having a range of vocabulary on here seems to get the point across better, so it has helped that too lol
