I might cry, y'know.
When my parents first confronted me about smoking weed they also said "I bet you're using that insence to cover up the smell of smoke!" when honestly i started burning insence about a year before i ever started smoking, 'cause my mate (who i used to see every day at school and like most weekends) used to burn it all the time, and i liked the smell and the idea, so i started.. It just happens that it covered the smell when smoking.
Actually, come to think of it, i don't think i ever burnt any whilst smoking, i really don't think i did:(
Damn wasted my opportunity.. I also bought a nice zippo from France and bought some lighter fluid for it, and my parents asked my brother if he thought i "sniffed stuff" (he told me they asked him) because i smoked weed. They took the lighter fluid off me and the incense, and they're still in the drawer in their bedroom to this day (they took them last year, 2004!) haha
Damn i want to burn incense again, but i get in trouble if i do, needless to say, they don't like smoking lol;)

Why is it that parents always jump to the wrong conclusions. Do they really think that little of us?

wow im not using incense anymore. just 2 days ago i had incense burning in my room (for no reason) and just to let you know i have the bonus room in the house. no door, just stairs leading upstairs into my room.
well the smell went through the whole house and my dad came up there (while i was putting it out) and asked me was a smoking. i said no. he walked over to my drawer and pulled out this wristwatch box where i keep my cig butts and ash in and he opened it and said he saw this in my room.
it was a very awkward moment of silence. all i could say was "i promise i dont smoke", but he knew good and well that i did. he said nothing more but "just throw it out because it smells"
he expected this all along because i told him a few years ago that i used to smoke. well just yesterday morning i talked to him (didnt have much time so couldnt talk to him about everything) and said that "i lied and yeah i do smoke but i had quit. and im just telling you, so you would know".
he was smoking at the time (outside) when i came to talked to him. all he did was just look at me and say "ok".
we never brought it up since. but the bad thing was that yesterday was my mom's b-day so i hope he didnt tell her
