ive heard people talk a lot about helping a plant become female before its sex is 'determined'. but if im not mistaken isnt a male plant determined when the seed is formed, before it even matures as an authentic seed on the plant? im a noob so any input/advice is greatly appreciated as this is my first hydro grow. ive heard about sensa spray? any1 know where to get good info on that or anything better? also, i wanted to start my flowerin cycle soon bc of my plants heights. theyre short and bushy and pushing about 7 nodes average at 8"-10" and still no signs of hairs or balls? any suggestions??

The sex is not determined in the seed. The plant determines the sex once it is spouted and the antioxidants use whatever determining factor they use to set the sex. The sex of the plant is controlled in the RNA of the plant not the DNA. If sex were determined by DNA then we would not have hermies.

to help get more girls? I use Sensa Soak from Plantastic to germinate my seeds as well as light control. I enjoy a better then 90% success rate too with it but most people don't use it right.

okay.. my first grow is almost over and i finally got a 4megapixel camera. i had 6 plants, but i yanked 2 males. the other 4 are kind of hard to determine just yet(1st week in flowering) but im hoping to determine them next week. however on my next grow im definately going to use this sensa spray i ordered; it should be here sometime next week. are there directions on the bottle on how much to spray on the leaves and how often and what not? or is it a different rate for maryjane?

Well it's not a spray it's a soak. You use it in place of water. It's called sensi soak and I use it to germinate my seeds.
