for all of you who use the syrup and it might even help for the gel caps and such .... try eating a few peices of bread before drinking the bottle of dxm and if your taking 2 bottles then eat more bread before the second one and wait intervals between chugs it works for me

Horrible idea man. When you eat bread with it all the dxm is going to get absorbed by it in your stomach. That is why for overdoses they make you drink charcoal to soak up the drug in your stomach. Trust me, I know firsthand.

wha?? all that the bread will do is slow the absorbsion (sp?) of the dxm and lesson the impact on your kidneys.

I had food in mystomach cuz I don't like the feeling of drugs or alcohol to an empty stomach so I like to have something in it and I find it's easier to control your intake cuz it's like cooking you can always add more but you can never deduct. sertain things yea I don't eat for but like dxm and pills in generally I normally end up feeling really bad if I don't eat food first.

yes but it absorbs it instead of it just being the straight liquid sitting in your stomach and it makes it easier to keep it down and like he said i guess it could help less damage to your kidneys / liver ... so who craes if it slows down absorbtion rate its still going to kick in eventually ! your choice .. puke or wait maybe an extra hour :D

I'd rather wait an extra hour
