How many Hours of light for each plant stage?

I just got a few little plants growing and I have them sitting in the window. I'm about to put them under the lights, and I want to know how long I should have the lights on for each stage of the plant. Thanks!

Ha yea I'd like to see em too. Back in chicago there was a store that had the most beautiful huge glass red dragon bong for like $300.
