hello everyone just thought id post some pics of how my first grow is going, it seems to be turning out fine although there are a few little things going down that im not too sure about, if you can see any obvious problems from the photos some feedback would be much appreciated. 1 2 3 and 5 are californian orange bud and the 4th one is a K2. i had some trouble with nutrient lockout because i wasnt changing the tank water so often but i have learnt my lesson now. theyre grown in NFT as you will know if you have read my other post and theres 800W above the three of them, there will be six though when this is done. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Awsome! Keep us posted. I just started some orange bud about 2 weeks ago, can't wait to flower. Did you start from fem seed ? Do you think they need extra care ? I have had to keep on top of things. Out of 6, 3 are doing good and 3 not so good. I started from fems.

They are Dutch Passion from drchronics. I got a bunch that's not fem coming from there from nirvana. I tried 2 for mothers and they wilted just after coming up. I have greminated hundreds of seeds this same way. Go figure. On my second hydro grow now. I will just have to start mothers and sex them before cloning. Keep us updated the K2 is wick ed.

does anyone have any ideas what the slight purpling of the stoma which the hairs protrude from is caused by(picture 5 on my previous post)? the other californian orange bud has not shown these characteristics. this plant did go through considerable stress at the beginning of flowering, could the purple colour be down to this?
Thanks,
Fallen.

Some time it's just a trait in the strain too or temperature. Either way I don't think there is a problem, happy growing.

my temprature is about 70 degrees at night and 78-82 when the lights are on, would this cause the problem do you think, im 39 days into flowering :), or it was 36 when i took those pictures, do you think they are the right size for the age taking into account the strains? im also not sure when abouts to start the flush process, i want to take a while over it so i can get the EC down slowly in a slope as apposed to just give it plain PHed water right away  . The first picture of the COB plant has started curling its leaves that are located around the top bud they're curled up at the sides, <_> like so, you can see this a bit in the picture. what do you think could be causing this? any help would be much appreciated ;)

They are what they are so don't worry. There is not much you can do but to keep the temperature in place and the Ph correct at this point. Stop feeding (N) about 10 day's before you flush. Other then that keep feeding them and keep the Ph down to 5.2-5.8 and you should be fine.
