parents took pipe

my parents found and took my pipe. this isn't the first time they've busted me. however, they haven't said a single word about it.

i looked through their stuff (since they looked through mine) and found my pipe. should i take it back?

i'm considering taking it and making an argument that pot isn't negatively affecting me. i can prove it because i'm getting a 4.0 this year which i've never had in the past.

Take it, and if they bust you, say you don't want them looking through your stuff, my parents used to search my room, and my dad had a go at me, telling me to give him my pipe, but that beaut of a piece (£8 one haha) has survived over a year of hassle, so it's too speacial to give up:D;)

If you bought it with YOUR money then yes its yours, take it back and if/when they find out you took it back you just tell them "look, this is my pipe, i bought it with my money and therefore you have no right to take it" If you bought it with your lunch money or something like that (where ur rents gave it to you) I would suggest you just sit one down (whichever one is more likely to understand the situation) and say something along the lines of "Alright look I realize you dont approve of pot and I will respect that, but by taking the pipe or destroying it you have done nothing other than waste money and I'll just have to spend more of it to buy a new one" This is almost exactly what I told my mother the first time I actually stood up for myself and it worked to my surprise.

Find a better hiding spot. take it back and stash it there. They have to prove that they didn't lose it. Look a little harder and you may find their weed.

who knows..if they didnt say anything about it when they took it..maybe they wont say anything about it when it goes mysteriously missing. if they notice!

y not sit down with them and try to have a talk about the herb, i mean if you r paying for your own way they cant stop u, they might have legit reasoning, they might have bullshit morals driving the decision too, checking through your shit means mis-trust or control, they might be tired of your lazy ass and throw you out, if the church is driving the reasoning you'd be better off hauling ass. I am a parent and I won't authorize smoking anything, because if you say ok then how do you set limits, ie: buying some beer for a 16yr old b-day no driving everyone in house, sounds harmless, till someone finds the vodka drinks too much and gets alcohol poisoning, well you let them drink beer whats the difference, why cant i drink over there or go here, so why not just cut all the grey area out and not allow minors to act outside the law while in your supervision. I know its kind of a cop-out but, at least I don't tell them dead people are in heaven, the dog was the tough one, wouldve been easy to say oh yes honey max is waiting for you up there. good luck with your folks honest discussion will make your bond strong you might even be friends with them. peace
