I have my two babies in 2 gallon or less pots right now. I looked @ one and could see the roots from the bottom. Does this mean they're done with? The leaves are droopin pretty hardcore. Should I transplant imediately? What nute is good for droopy leaves? Hardon, Zandor, anyone that knows anything about this please help.

Seeing roots is not an emergency.
1. how old are these 'babies?'
2. no you should not transplant immediately....if the problem is not root binding, then you just create a bigger problem.
3. droopy leaves can be an early sign of too much water.
Need more data. age, lights, temps and what kind of container are they in allowing you to see the roots.
More data needed and pics always help :)

One is about 11 inches tall, and the other is a little shorter. THey are in black containers. They have a fan on them, temp is probably no higher then 80 degrees. Very low humidity, could that be a factor? Using a 400 watt MH.
Thanks for the help

I'll try to post some pics tonight, I don't have a digi though. Harddon- Do you think I should go ahead with the transplant? Do you reccomend rooting powder. I was reading through, and I heard it could be a nitrogen deficiency??? Whats a good all around nute? I'm gonna go with the fox farm tiger bloom for flowering, but whats a good fox farm for veggin
Everyones help is much appreciated

Hello, fox farm is a great fertilizer it does lack Calcium and Magnesium. A good espson salt should do the trick. The Grow Big is a good one for veg but i would suggest to add a seaweed extract. Make sure your not using miracle grow soil though if you are going to add your own nutrients. Try fox farm potting soil too works great mixed with coco and worm castings. O and the drooping of the leaves can be from temp, lack of water, too much water or your light is too close. As far as repotting i wouldn't change too soon, you can squeeze your containers and if they are really tight, time to transplant.

Dingo, your reply failed to tell me how old or or how young they are.

Try spraying mist purified water on her leaves...low humidty could be a factor but how low is it? It has to be really low to have that affect on her.
11" tall so she is what about 1 month old?
If you go to the FAQ you can read properly how to transplant...but I dont think that is the point until you tell the age and the size container its in.
How many quarts or how wide is the top and how deep is the container?
Lanky plants will also wilt a bit naturally as they bask in the sunlight. They usually will perkup at sundown. Some are just the opposite.
Make sure the wilting isnt just a light cycle type of response.
Anyhow, bat guano is my veg nute of choice. Get a nice bag of 5-1-1 or 11-7-1...
Nitro defieciency will reveal itself in yellowing of foilage, not dropping of leaves :)

Thanks Harddon. They're about 25 days old. The pot is about 8 inches diameter, and about 1 foot tall. Humidity is around 10% here.

Yes, 10% humidity is very very low for this stage.
Humidty is very hard to control especially if you have really good air exchange.
I have not had this problem...perhaps some soaked towels placed in the room would help. Or a bowl of water....
If you are around them often, you can spray mist every few hours and the plants just LOVE IT :)
As for your rooting....fuckits hard to diagnose without pics....but...you can water her, then slowly lift her out of the pot and look for yourself at the rooting system.
Signs of needed transplanting are patches of heavy white...roots.....especially at the bottom and lower sides....where they appear to be growing onto each other in search of soil. If you have that, read the FAQ I have on transplant and have at it :)
How long are you veggin her?

thanks, you da man. Probably not going to veg too much longer, I have the big pots to transplant, I read your transplant post, nice directions, easy to understand. Picked up some Fish-mix plant nutrient. (2.1-0.2-6.6), is this any good? How much should I put into one gallon? I'm going to get some bat guano also. Do you use that for flowering?

I really dont like to advise on nutrient additions, other than SuperThrive with every water. Too many people fuck their shit up because they think the plants need nutes that arent in the dirt....and they havent done a dirt analysis.
The only nute I give during veg is the bat guano..... helps them grow.....
Then in flower i use a flower nute....
Just be safe and use 1/4 what they want you to. Tomatos dont need a whole lot of nutes in a good soil or dirt base. I use 1/4 strength 1X week.
No I dont think you want the fish mix at this time. Flowering time it sounds suitable...not veg time.
Good luck :)
