Ride the lightening, or Master of puppets first two choices. Then theres the wall, and the white album. Led Zep In through the out door is also a good one to listen to high. Hell, any good music is alright with me when I'm stoned. I'm easy to please when I'm high I guess.

When stoned, eh? I like Rancid's "Life Won't Wait". (When stoned I especially enjoy some of those weird punk/reggae blends they do here and there on that album.)

jgj yea man.. love Ravi got him at Woodstock..evening Raga..amongst others did you know that Nora Jones is his daughter?? yes atom heart mother, got a few PF..most recent the division bell..
jolly green giant
07-11-2004, 08:31 PM
hi duppy, yeah i knew about ravi and nora.
i really like the division bell. have you got pf's 'pulse' double live cd. it has the best version of the best song ever written in the history of mankind........... COMFORTABLY NUMB thers never been a better tune nor will ther ever be...all bands should just give up.
what really pisses me off about floyd is the price of their cd's. the wall which was made in 1979 is still £26. which at the moment is about 50 dollar. they might be genius's but there tight as a ducks arse...
duppy man
07-11-2004, 09:02 PM
No I didn't buy it was it a compilation??? ....Floyd experieance...I was stuck in Spain trying to get back to the Uk...the flight was delayed eventually took off 24 hrs later August 80. 5.45 GMT plane took off got above the clouds clear blue sky I picked up the headphones off the seat placed them on my head and got the intro to Shine on Crazy Diamond just as the suns rays were breaking through the clouds......I had a moment of oneness ..........seen the Floyd live twice...

St Johns in Livinston? Bad news I am afraid...the weeds REALLY cheap, but the quality has dropped. This is certainly the case with solid, havent seen grass in ageeeeees though. I'm sure a bit of digging around would produce some (tis tough though)
Oh, mah poor wee ears though, all that shouting lol, I aint used to it.
Changes on a weekly, sometimes daily basis but the ones I come back to time and time again are Pink Floyd "The Wall" and Led Zepplin"IV"(untitled)
with a little drop of Carmina Burana (old spice add) on the very rare occasion when i'm coked :D

The Dead are my all time favorite. I've got close to 200 of their concerts on CD and like to listen to the pre-1970 shows when I'm really baked. Other than those I really like to listed to these when I'm high:
Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders-Live at Keystone Berkeley (Like the Dead with a lot of Jazz thrown in)
Pink Floyd-Saucerful of Secrets (late '60's Floyd, really psychedelic)
Beatles-Abbey Road
Dave Brubeck-Time Out (classic Jazz)
Steely Dan-Aja
Billie Holiday- Jazz Round Midnight (kick back and imagine you're back in the '40's in some smokey jazz club)
