Purple Weed

Hey guys,

I just got some weed wich I haven't smoked yet, will be doing so in about 30 min. I just wanted to know if anyone of you have ever had some green and purple weed ? Would this be Purple Haze or Power Purple ? I don't have a camera or anything to post a pic, the best description I could give is that the weed is a mixed color of drak green and dark purple. The weed is very sticky and smells pretty good too.

well, its some kind of purple somthin. i've heard that the real purple haze is gone and will never come back.(is that true?)

im looking at a high times and theres a strain called the purps, has really light green leaves with purple parts on the buds, and it loks pretty coved with crystals

i used to get some real purple sticky in austin but just cause its purple doesnt always mean its the shit i've had really good mouth watering purple and then some just ok so who knows post the high tell what tyou think

Hmmm... mine dosen't really have crystals and it dosen't really shine like some of the weed I have smoked in the past. Beside the purple color, what really strikes me is the smell, it smells really good but at the same time it's dosen't really smell like the different weed I have smoked in the past. I don't really know how to describe the smell... Actually, I would say it smells like a garden...

Well actually im pretty sure the purple color is caused by cold tempratures when growing wich is the reason that some purple weed isnt all that great.I think you would know if its true purple haze by the high.Most people say haze's have a sativa "up" kinda high.

Could be Purple Power or it could be Aurora Indica ( http://weedseedshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=40 ). Let me know how it goes, I'm thinking of getting some Aurora Indica seeds.

The color has nothing to do with the bud, i could be a different phenotype, undernourished, or some other grow-related thing. Purple haze is no different than normal haze, except in its rarity. If its haze, you will know, its an extremely strong head high.

The buzz is pretty intense, and rather different than usually... It's very intense. Definatly good weed!

ive had like violet bud...that was the onyl real purple haze i ever had...
ive gotten chronic before that had dark purple on it and its mold or undernourshiment or whatever its considered...but it doesnt mean its haze

There's lots of different purple strains out there. I was reading about them in the cannabible the other day. Some are just purple, like Purple Star or Purple haze. Other times though, purple coloration is caused by the buds getting too cold or even getting frosted. The problem with anything puple is that if its a true purple strain it should be pretty good. But if its just purple because its been frosted it will actually lose potency. Apparently some growers, whose buds have been frosted, will take what really is a shitty crop and pass it off as great cause its purple.

There are hundreds of different types of, 'purple' colored MJ. Figuring out which one is yours will be a difficult task as it could be either the genetic that makes it purple, or the cooler temps, which could be thousands of different kinds.

I grew some MJ outside a few years ago as I ran out of space in my GR. I planted them on a hill and they were green at the time. I never fed them or nothing, just left them on the hill. I went back like 3 months later, and they were a deep colored purple from the cool temps we had that year.

Anyways, I remeber that because it was potent as fuck too.:cool: Peace
