BAGHDAD, Iraq - A nephew of Saddam Hussein was sentenced Monday to life in prison for funding Iraqâ??s violent insurgency and for bomb-making, the government said in the first verdict against a family member of the ousted leader.

Ayman Sabawi, the son of Sabawi Ibrahim al-Hassan, a half brother of Saddam, was captured in May by security forces during a raid on Tikrit â?? the former leaderâ??s hometown.

I don't know what he meant, and won't claim to speak for him, but the Iraqui Gov. has a bad habit of making statements without a shred of evidence. Identifieing the nationality of suicide bombers five minutes after they blow themselves up, ect.
