I was offered mushrooms from my friend's friends, and i was a little unsure even though they looked like the rest of the shrooms i've ever seen, so i made him eat them first.

Drink orange juice, do it with a few friends in my opinion.

Uh, I don't think this guy knows anything about magic shrooms. My advice to you: First, study about them, their effects, and what kind are actually psychoactive. A few good sites are: Magic-Mushrooms.net, Shroomery.com, and Erowed.org.

Let me just start off as saying, not all mushrooms are psychedelic. If they were, people would be tripping 24/7. If you know enough/ know someone who knows something/ about mushrooms, you may not have to buy them at all. You could just go out and pick them. BUT I would not suggest this, since i see this is clearly not the case. Get someone who knows what the hell he's talking about to get some shrooms, and try it with them first. Never go to a dealer you don't know and ask for shrooms. They will know right away your a newb and sell you either fucking fake ass ones, or just plainly sell you Amanita Virosa (sp?) which will end in an inevitable (wtf sp?) and unfortunate death for you.

depends if your buying them from a reliable source like the net or shroom shop

the best way to do it is ask a dealer that you have bought from for a long time, they usually wont rip you off, or maybe a close friend who has before...
