Hi,
I've a bit of a problem with my 125w envirolight system. I came home one day and the light had blown out. The actual bit that you screw into the socket had nearly blown off from the actual bulb altogether. I took it out, cleaned the socket & then got another light. When I plugged it in, it lit for a fraction of a second, and then blew out.
I've checked the cables etc, and I don't know what it is as everything looks ok, but it's just weird that it on keeps happening.
Any thoughts on this? I don't want to end up a on a slab if the electrics are not right, but I haven't had this type of trouble before. Maybe I just got a bad light. Do you think I'm panicing over nothing?
