Hi,

I recently did a 1/3 and a half of Endust the other days ago and it was so fucking sweet it gave me the ultimate high, bigger than weed (but dont get me wrong weed is ultimately better), I was just wondering wut is the chemical in Endust computer spray that gets u so high and so dumb (dead brain cells)????

now now, huffing doesn't nessicarily lead to long term stupidity....i've done quite a bit of huffing in my day of multiple things...and while not the smartest thing in my life (left me unable to form complete sentences for a couple of years) doesn't affect me anymore (i quit years ago when i had a bad experience) but yea don't do it, cuz you can die instantly from that shit

Yeah, the day after I did that much I felt like totally deadbrained and it took 2 days to get my sense back. But now I'm cool. I have done it a few other times (2 hits or so) and I don't think I'ma do it anymore. It just seems NASTY on the lungs eh? Also, how can it kill me on one hit if I already huffed 1/3 of a can and survived?

yea i know, and i'm not trying to promote huffing/inhalants....matter of fact just the opposite and i thought when the brain cells died they stayed dead (as far as i know they still do) but i got over all the problems i had due to huffing after a couple of years. i don't know exactly but i know i was just down right fuck-tarded for a couple of years after my few months of constant huffing, and one day i realized what i was doing to myself and i vowed never to do it again. i had come to face the fact i was going to be 'stupid' for the rest of my life cuz of the choice i made....but like i said a couple years later i noticed i didn't stutter over every word i was trying to say and i could think more clearly. durring those times i couldn't even do basic math.....but now i'm able to do algebra and the like again.

x + 2 = 7 is the base problem, x being the variable. simply reverse the action (being + in this case, you would use -) and switch with the = sign and write it backwards (going right to left instead of left to right) so it becomes 7 - 2 = x...

Sniffing them duster cans, causes you to breath in a chemical that is like heavy air, and when you breath it in, your lungs are less and less able to obsorb oxygen. eventually you will die from lack of oxygen.

well through someone's eyes who has problems getting 'real drugs' (not me i have problems getting them but i will not go back to that shit) this is the best alternative....as long as this shit is easier to get than weed and shit, people will continue to turn to in the there moments of desperateness. one of three things will eventually happen 1. they realize how dumb it is, 2. they fuck their brain up and become 'retarded' 3. they die....unfortunately the latter 2 of the 3 happen more often then the first one......

Just wanted to say.. I don't know if you'll believe me or not.. even if you don't, it's your life and brain, but I read an online article that there's a propellant in dust-off that has a random chance of killing you everytime you do it. It's basically playing russian roulette everytime you huff. I should know, because I used to do dust-off. It's very, very, very stupid to play with your life like that.

I hope that you will take my advice and please, please, stop doing dust-off. There are tons of other things to do to get a buzz that are a lot safer.

He retired at 3 years old because he was shot in the line of duty. He lives with us now and I still train with him because he likes it. I always liked the fact that there was no way to bring drugs into my house. Thor wouldn't allow it. He would tell on you. The reason I say this is so you understand that I know about drugs. I have taught in schools about drugs. My wife asks all our kids at least once a week if they used any drugs. Makes them promise they wont.

I like building computers occasionally and started building a new one in February 2005. I also was working on some of my older computers. They were full of dust so on one of my trips to the computer store I bought a 3 pack of DUST OFF. Dust Off is a can of compressed air to blow dust off a computer. A few weeks later when I went to use them they were all used. I talked to my kids and my 2 sons both said they had used them on their computer and messing around with them. I yelled at them for wasting the 10 dollars I paid for them. On February 28 I went back to the computer store. They didn't have the 3 pack which I had bought on sale so I bought a single jumbo can of Dust Off. I went home and set it down beside my computer.

On March 1st I left for work at 10 PM. At 11 PM my wife went down and kissed Kyle goodnight. At 530 am the next morning Kathy went downstairs to wake Kyle up for school, before she left for work. He was sitting up in bed with his legs crossed and his head leaning over. She called to him a few times to get up. He didn't move. He would sometimes tease her like this and pretend he fell back asleep. He was never easy to get up. She went in and shook his arm. He fell over. He was pale white and had the straw from the Dust Off can coming out of his mouth. He had the new can of Dust Off in his hands. Kyle was dead.

I am a police officer and I had never heard of this. My wife is a nurse and she had never heard of this. We later found out from the coroner, after the autopsy, that only the propellant from the can of Dust off was in his system. No other drugs. Kyle had died between midnight and 1 Am.

I found out that using Dust Off is being done mostly by kids ages 9 through 15. They even have a name for it. It's called dusting. A take off from the Dust Off name. It gives them a slight high for about 10 seconds. It makes them dizzy. A boy who lives down the street from us showed Kyle how to do this about a month before. Kyle showed his best friend. Told him it was cool and it couldn't hurt you. Its just compressed air. It cant hurt you. His best friend said no.

Kyle's death

Kyle was wrong. It's not just compressed air. It also contains a propellant. I think its R2. Its a refrigerant like what is used in your refrigerator. It is a heavy gas. Heavier than air. When you inhale it, it fills your lungs and keeps the good air, with oxygen, out. That's why you feel dizzy, buzzed. It decreases the oxygen to your brain, to your heart. Kyle was right. It cant hurt you. IT KILLS YOU. The horrible part about this is there is no warning. There is no level that kills you. It's not cumulative or an overdose; it can just go randomly, terribly wrong. Roll the dice and if your number comes up you die. ITS NOT AN OVERDOSE. Its Russian roulette. You don't die later. Or not feel good and say I've had too much. You usually die as your breathing it in. If not you die within 2 seconds of finishing "the hit." That's why the straw was still in Kyle's mouth when he died. Why his eye's were still open.

The experts want to call this huffing. The kids don't believe its huffing. As adults we tend to lump many things together. But it doesn't fit here. And that's why its more accepted. There is no chemical reaction. no strong odor. It doesn't follow the huffing signals. Kyle complained a few days before he died of his tongue hurting. It probably did. The propellant causes frostbite. If I had only known.

Its easy to say hay, its my life and I'll do what I want. But it isn't. Others are always effected. This has forever changed our family's life. I have a hole in my heart and soul that can never be fixed. The pain is so immense I cant describe it. There's nowhere to run from it. I cry all the time and I don't ever cry. I do what I'm supposed to do but I don't really care. My kids are messed up. One wont talk about it. The other will only sleep in our room at night. And my wife, I cant even describe how bad she is taking this. I thought we were safe because of Thor. I thought we were safe because we knew about drugs and talked to our kids about them.

After Kyle died another story came out. A Probation Officer went to the school system next to ours to speak with a student. While there he found a student using Dust Off in the bathroom. This student told him about another student who also had some in his locker. This is a rather affluent school system. They will tell you they don't have a drug problem there. They don't even have a dare or plus program there. So rather than tell everyone about this "new" way of getting high they found, they hid it. The probation officer told the media after Kyle's death and they, the school, then admitted to it. I know that if they would have told the media and I had heard, it wouldn't have been in my house.

We need to get this out of our homes and school computer labs.

Using Dust Off isn't new and some "professionals" do know about. It just isn't talked about much, except by the kids. They know about it.

April 2nd was 1 month since Kyle died. April 5th would have been his 15th birthday. And every weekday I catch myself sitting on the living room couch at 2:30 in the afternoon and waiting to see him get off the bus. I know Kyle is in heaven but I cant help but wonder If I died and went to Hell.

in case anyone wants to try and protest what 'jeff' said, even if he didn't write it, or experience it, what is said is true....the effects, the non over dose limit....not all inhalants are like this..take one of the other more popularly (anytime i've quit a drug it's because i've heard of a lot of death due to it and have taken it upon myself to gather the proof that it is true it is dangerous, since i don't like to listen to people saying it's bad, i mean hey the government says weed is bad but it's really not AS bad as they say) used inhalants....airfreshner....what this does is even when used 'properly' (i won't tell you how becasue i don't want someone learning from me, but there is a method commonly used to keep the particles from going into your lungs) some of the particles enter you lungs, once there they are either excreted as mucus and other liquids are expelled from the lungs, or they build up and eventually enter the blood stream, once there it goes through your viens/arterys and eventually WILL cause a clog in your brain or other major artery/vein. it then blocks blood flow eventually causing an anyuresim or other quick killing problem (not really a sickness or a disease) it doesn't matter a shit what your friends tell you or how many people have told you, there are warnings for a reason...they have been proven to not be safe by non-government funded programs (in most cases by their own company, the keyboard duster i use [to clean my keyboard and computer with] has an extra something in it to prevent intentional misuse by inhalation. i'm not sure what that measure is, or what it does..and i don't want to find out....i can tell you now, and this i promise if you do huff, short time or not some day you willl look back on it and regret it either becasue you realize it's immature, it seperated your from your family (when i entered the world of huffing i stayed in my room 2-3 weeks straight, gave up every friend i had, and dis-located my self from soceity and reality) or caused ireperable harm, whatever the reason someday you will look back on it and regret it, if you live past the days of huffing. i believe the media and such awareness is low on it becasue the government 'quieted' them in a (stupid) effort to keep it from spreading. but i seem to remember reading some statistical data that deaths occur more (might be very marginable but i thin it was double) then even drugs such as herion and ex which have relatively high deathrates as it is. (from overdose or not doesn't matter when it comes to death rates and comparation) this is a post from a former long term huffer (i was probably into the whole huffing thing for well over a year) to get anyone off of it that is on it. i know most won't listen to me, cuz i never listened to the people that had told me not to do it....but it is dangerous and it does kill and you'll never feel it coming on so there's nothing you can do...there's no realizing you screwed up and calling 911 and there's rarely anyone around to see it happen to do so, and even rarer is there recussitation, if you won't listen to the people that advise against it, you obviously have the internet...look up the horror stories for yourself..simply go to google and type 'inhalant deaths' ignore all the sites that give you information and 'abuse signs' as you'll probably think those are lying anyways....look for the news stories, forum posts and such....and remember only about 70% of north america has internet users...so there are still probably way more stories that just won't ever be able to be told, probably even less actually ever go and post on such a thing.

that doesnt mean anything i huffed a whole can in a afternoon but it didnt kill me, but i can kill instantly or with in a few seconds of the hit.. its very risky bu i still do it anyway
