Our own TN Senator Steve Cohen presented a bill earlier this year to legalize medical Mary Jane (and of course that would mean we could all legally grow in greenhouses and sell to the distibution centers with a simple grow license!).

Of course the fat cats shelved it until 2006 but we are gonna make a stink and get everyone driving around honking horns and get those legislators off their asses and Let my People GROW!

Also - I need volunteers for the big push this fall. We are going to have some Old School Yippies (yah the real thing) showing films and speaking about legalized pot, a new root called Ibogain from Africa that literally cures Heroin, Coke and Meth addiction, a film called "Hempsters" With willie Nelson and Merle Haggard.

Lets rock the vote and make TN State # 13 for Medical Marijuana. It aint just abouit getting buzzed; people with cancer and AIDS, glaucoma, arthritis, MS and even gangrene are getting better using pot or are able to at least drop their doss of hard drugs like Morphine by 4/5 so they can have a life. For many this is serious medicine and damn if I'm going to let some unschooled right wing paranoids stop my loved ones and friends and fellow citizens from getting their meds.

Lets get rowdy like the 60's we can change the laws shit we Are "We the People" they are supposed to serve us and if they don;t we can kick them the hell out. It's time to get radical militant and rowdy!

Just stopping in to say "Hey" and what's up my fellow Tennesseans. I'm female, married and count hubby as my only child. ;)

Found this place among other sites after rejoicing in Denver's successful I-100 Alcohol-Marijuana Equalization Initiative to make it legal for adults to use marijuana and would love to see it happen across the US and/or in TN during my lifetime. For those that haven't seen the materials SAFERchoice distributed go here http://www.saferchoice.org/ and check it out.

It would be awesome to make a stand like SAFERchoice did in Denver in TN and to educate more people on the facts and put an end to the criminalization of a substance that is less harmful than alcohol. For Peteâ??s sake how do we as a body of people condone laws that allow a person that kills or mames someone while under the influence of alcohol get off with a simple slap on the hand â?? if that and someone that lives a peaceful, hard working life while harming no one can get years for possession or selling marijuana. :cursing:

Iâ??m truly embarrassed I havenâ??t spoken out more in the past but by golly Iâ??m armed and dangerous now with information provided by SAFERchoice and other sources that uphold what Iâ??ve only talked to other smokers about. Well that was then and this is now!

Does anyone know or has anyone contacted the folks with SAFERchoice to see if they have considered a national campaign or if they have considered working with other cities to properly inform folks of the truth?

Gotta run â?? but would like to hear/discuss with other Tennesseans about possibly doing something, anything to make the world a better place and decriminalize marijuana for adult consumption.

I am compiling a list for activism. Senator Cohen has a bill already presented to be puled out for review early '06 and when it is we have to get everyone we can downtown Nashville to drive around the capitol and honk it up!

For those of you who don;t know it TN has kept a State income tax AWAY by doing this "circle the wagons" thing.

I was arrested for growing and almost got jail time but got away with 1 year probation. My car is dead and I am so broke we may be homeless if I cannot raise $200 support in the next week. If you can help with a donation of any size I can give you a tax deductible receipt.
