Nutmeg Pills!

I went to the drug store and bought some vitimins in the capsel form. When i got home i emptied them and filled them with nutmeg...I took 4 nutmeg pills! Didnt taste a thing as I drank it down with rootbeer! This is my first nutmeg trip, and I am still kinda stoned from before from token all day today! We will see what happens! I am thinking that 4 pills might be to small if people are taking 4 table spoons!? we will see I will wait a bit and maybe take more. Ill keep you posted:p

Okay so in total I have now taken 10 pills! I dont want to take to much because this is my first nutmeg trip and i work at 5:30 tomorrow...hopefully i get somthing off this...i didnt taste it at all but now i burp (because i took the pills with rootbeer) and it tastes like nutmeg, grose!

Nutmeg does fuck you up, I dont know, there is plenty of people's accounts to show it does...but its a weird thing and its not comparable in awsomeness to weed or shrooms or anything, its just like a stoned/drunk kind of feeling, and then the occasional really bizarre type thing like something has yellow lines all over it, or you hear some voices. Otherwise its not too much to get excited over.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't the first nutmegger here on the boards, but I don't have a good memory so maybe I was. I notice a high increase in the Nutmeg posts though. Just a warning, most people get sick and nothing happens, and most people won't beleive that you had any effects if you do, and it tastes kind of like royal ass, but its not enough of a bad taste to get too bitchy about.

Wow I am really high and tired, that post was a rant, probably a stupid one :) my bad. Good luck with the nutmeg pills, I suggest just eating it normally in tablespoons.

Except that it's.. not like that at all. Shittake mushrooms do not have an entry in Erowid. Nutmeg does. Clearly there's a reason why it is in there, maybe because it ACTUALLY HAS HALLUCINOGENIC EFFECTS.

I've also read articles on Erowid that say under 1/3 of people who try DXM repeat it because they don't like it, but there's plenty of people that do it and enjoy it regularly (myself included). Just because some find it unpleasant doesn't mean we all do.

No, I wouldn't believe it, because you would be saying it. If I saw it on Erowid, I probably still wouldn't believe it. Buuut.. Erowid is still the most comprehensive drug website that I have ever seen.

"There was a big Saturday night rave occuring (big by Brisbane's standards anyway)My friend and I due to being short of money were unable to buy any chemicals so we decided to give nutmeg a whirl. We wandered up to the local health food store where we purchased two different types of nutmeg. The whole nutmeg was then ground down to a fine powder. I decided to try the batch from Indonesia while my friend opted for the stuff from Sri Lanka. My Indonesian Nutmeg was of a lighter colour where my friend's was a dark rich colour. This was the main reason he chose it, he later stated. We both consumed it at 6.30 pm since I had read on the network that it took up to 5 hours to come on. Bullshit to say the least , after the consumption of 3 tablespoons each I started to feel a bit drunk within 20 minutes. Within 1 hour I felt really drunk, my speech was slurred , I could not walk in straight line and generally felt fucked. What was I going to feel like in 4 hours? This thought scared me.

One hour passed and I started to feel more energetic , the phone rang and I answered it knowing it would be my friend. My friend was on the line telling me he felt really stoned and had totally lost it in front of his parents just previously. Since I would be meeting him in about 1 hour I got ready to go. When I arrived at his house to go to the rave I was feeling darn good. The nutmeg was acting like virtually every drug I have ever taken. I had all the effects of alcohol , the increased confidence as well as all the others. My thought process changed as well with me coming up with some weird abstract shit, that always happens when I have a smoke.

By about 10 pm I was peaking, I was having mild hallucinations and quite good ones if I closed my eyes. Nutmeg was also a very funny drug My friend and I were laughing uncontrollably and could not get into the music as much as we have liked to. I started dancing but had to quit since I was laughing at people on the dance floor. I quit before I got my head kicked in. By 12 pm the spin was just as intense as it was 2 hours earlier , and my face started to show the signs. My eyes were so red and I could not keep them open , I generally looked wasted. My friend was doing unreal , he was sitting in a corner laughing hysterically looking like an asylum patient. By 2 am the intensity had not declined and I was getting really tired of the spin. Minutes later my friend ran out of the rave with me following as soon as possible. I managed to see him throw up and pass out.(NO shit)

I thought this was going to last as long as LSD but I was wrong , the nutmeg spin lasted longer. I left the rave at 6am still spinning off my dial. My friend was still outside although he had crawled 10 metres to be found sleeping under a tree. The next day was a blur as had been the night before. My friend who is postman , did not go to work on Monday. Took an extra 2 hours to do his run on Tuesday(Got in huge trouble) and rode his bike into an embankment on Wednesday spilling all the mail onto a main road. He did not straighten up until Friday. I was completely straight on Tuesday. All in all I quite liked nutmeg but the intensity was too much, the feeling generated could not be defined, but fucked comes in to mind a lot. I think I will stick to E's but they are damn hard to come by lately. "

Quite clearly, it IS a drug. The fact that it is unpleasant doesn't detract from the fact that it is a drug. Until you try it 3 or 4 times, and you do not feel ANYTHING at all, including no hallucinations, no feelings of excitedness, no changes in though, perception, or anything else that is commonly associated with drugs, then maybe I will believe you.

u know, i dont like the methods of ingesting DXM, but DXM has tons of potential for self exploration; its effect to bring people together; remember previsouly forgotten memories. its an extremely complex drug, but hell, i hate chugging syrup or eating pills, it doesnt feel the same as toking smooth herb. i know what ur saying lizka.

Well, I don't really think there's any drug like DXM (With the possible exception of Ketamine and PCP). The best way that I know of to take dXM are the gelcaps. It's easy and you can just take them 2 at a time, and then you're all set. It is sorta a pain, though, to go through the nausea and upset stomach. I'd rather just smoke some MJ, honestly. Of course, that's not detract from the fact that it is a great drug and can be extremely fun and enlightening if done right.

i think it is unfortunate that DXM has to come in such a vile product such as cough medicine and what not. i find DXM to be incredibly useful for introspective work; mainly because it has the tendency to complelte erase any mindfuck or internal chatter; allowing you to fully contemplate an issue. as far as Nutmeg being a phychoactive, it is obvious that it is in both a sense that people have experience with it and that we know what chemicals are responsible. yeah, High five Jake. check out Erowid if u have any beaf. o and ive tried it; perhaps not my favorite drug but it wasnt all that bad.
