Let's pretend, one day in the future, Marijuana came in pill form. What if you could get the exact same high from a swallowing a pill as smoking a joint or blunt, which one would you choose? I could drop the smoking ritual, I care more about the high.

i've never smoked that much in under three hours. an eighth would last me for a week, give or take a few days. i wish payday was tomorrow, then i'd be able to smoke some weed. i purchase my weekly eighth and stay sober until i get paid again, but it's so tempting to break the cycle and go get some killa and just smoke myself into nirvana.
i have to save money though - eighteen years old and still don't have my driver's liscense...

You sound exactly the same as someone I know, claiming to smoke a shitload of weed and feel nothing(maybe a lil stoned), of course no one was around when this guy did it but he swears it's the truth. When this guy bakes with me (not only does he not supply his own weed for the past 2 years i've known him, he gets increadibly baked out of quater it takes me).

last time i checked platic isnt a good smoking device material, make a gravity bong, get yourself like an eigth of good hydro, TRY and smoke the whole thing and if you arent baked then you my friend are not real

I truly and deeply enjoy the fine intricacies of the taste and smell of some good smoked bud. The feel on my tongue, the taste on inhale, the different taste and smell on exhale. I enjoy the experience of a joint to the fullest even before the physical effects. I would have a hard time replacing smoking completely.
But, since most of my usage is med these days I would appreciate a pill I could drop when having a smoke is not convenient or pleasant, if it was not like marinol. If it contained the same active ingredients as med bud and influenced the body in the same way I would use it for sure.
When I use for pain management I dont feel the same euphoria anyway. It curbs or dulls my symptoms without making me all high. Well, unless I chase it with another one or two hehe.
In contrast high grade med bud smoked for recreation knocks me on my ass.

They do have pills for it that fuck you up. They also have synthetic THC pills they give to chemo patients. The synthetic version makes you sluggish and kills nausea without giving you a high though.
